She did not apologize but she did say something along the lines of the target is really Trump who she totally disagrees with.
I mean she really is a horrible candidate and I don't see how the hell she is winning. I truly wonder if these numbers being shown are simply the media trying to force an idea of "she is going to win so just go along with it folks" mentality.

Here's the thing. Clinton is a horrible candidate and probably an abysmal person. The Republicans should have this in the bag. However, they somehow went out and found someone who is worse, if that is even possible. If they run Romney, Kasich, Jeb Bush or any number of moderate Republicans they win this in a walk. Instead they find the one person who can actually make Clinton look like the better choice and now they are going to go down in flames.
By the way, the same can be said for the Democrats. They are most likely going to win this thing, but Clinton is going to damage their party. They will probably see massive losses in the House and Senate during the next election cycle.
When they look back at this Presidential election I wonder how much of the focus will be on missed opportunities.

I don't think Hillary smoked him like the first debate, but he clearly did not win anything last night. Like I mentioned, they ran McCain in 2008 and he got destroyed and attacked constantly. In 2012, they ran a pretty left leaning nice guy in Romney and the media's narrative was the same (hates women, blamed for a guy's wife's death of cancer, stuff he dd in high school, etc) AND HE GOT DESTROYED in the election.
There is no candidate that is going to hold up under this much media scrutiny as a Republican not to mention you're bringing up guys who would not have fired up the voting base. The majority of people are sick of the types you mentioned, which is why voters gave the big middle finger to the establishment and went with Trump to burn it down.

That's what all the others said after the first debate, too. Frankly, rarely does either side obviously win a debate - so what matters is the touting and crowing after the debate. In the first one, I thought Trump did fairly well the first half, and HC got the better of the second half. And then for the next week, the Post/Times/ABC/CBS/NBC democrat-media complex told everyone, over and over, that Hillary won the debate, so that became true. And the polls reflected it.
So it doesn't matter how they did last night (and I didn't watch it, even a second of it). What matters is the next couple of days and the narrative that develops....
Listened to am radio on the drive to work this morning, first time in a long time. Hugh Hewitt, good guy but known cheerleader for Team Red. He said, essentially, he could no longer support Trump, believes that Trump has a ceiling of 42% and therefore cannot win, but that if he drops Pence would win 40 states. I don't believe that, not all of it anyway, but I suppose it's theoretically possible. If so, the Dems and Media will want Trump to stay in the race until it's no longer even theoretically possible. So they may say he "won" last night and also delay the next bombshell until such time as Pence is no longer a viable option......
