Hey guys I am a massive NBA fan, and seeing as we don't play until Thursday, I am going to give my ceiling/floor potential in the NBA for our guys...

The ceiling comparison is who I think our guys could be like if they maximize their potentials and also have injury free careers, now I'm not saying that they will acquire the amount of trophies as these guys, because some guys just fit so well into their systems (would Tim Duncan have all his rings if he didn't play in San Antonio? Who knows) I definately don't expect everyone to agree with me, and if they did it Wouldent be any fun anyway, so lets get some good friendly discourse going on this subject...

My floor comparison are guys that I think our current players will be at least as good as in their careers, barring injury as well...

Devin Booker = Klay Thompson / Courtney Lee

Karl Anthony Towns = Tim Duncan / Anderson Varajao

Aaron Harrison = Aaron Afflalo / Gary Neal

Andrew Harrison = Kirk Hinrich / Shelvin Mack

Willie Cauley Stein = Deandre Jordan / Javale McGee

Dakari Johnson = Nikola Pekovic / Kendrick Perkins

Trey Lyles = Kawhi Leonard / Mike Dunleavy

Marcus Lee = Chris Anderson (Birdman) / Tyrus Thomas

Alex Poythress = Kenneth Faried / Jason Maxiell

Tyler Ulis = Chris Paul / JJ Berea

I will stop the comparisons here for now

My only request is that you go look at some of these comparisons career stats, or highlight videos if you are not familiar with their games and or team roles, before you bash some of the comparisons... I think you may be a little surprised, also keep in mind that some of these older guys were once young and played a little differently... Anyways let me know what you think RR... Oh yeah and let's go get # 9!!!!!!!!!

I think Aaron, Willie, Dakari, Trey, and Alex are all in reasonable ranges here - the rest strike me as incredibly generous.

Trey lyles n Leonard are like night n day. Lyles is actualy really close to what chris bosh was at Georgia tech

No offense taken whatsoever, I realize some guys will most likely fall Inbetween the guys I have mentioned, I just think our guys are so young, that 5-6 years from now they will be completely different players for the better, but either way, thanks for the input

I'm not feeling the WCS/Deandre Jordan match. I'm thinking more Tyson Chandler or maybe Camby for a ceiling. Jordan is a brute.

True Aike he is definately a brute, the reason I went with him is because he had fairly modest numbers up until recently in his career, I think his career avg is right around 10 Pts and 10 boards a game (may be wrong) but I think Stein could get there at some point in his career
