with mild, although slightly damp, weather frocast this week, does UK go outside to get a good jump on Baseball practice this week ?
I know we have the Nutter center, and it is a true asset, but hitting outdoors with no roof, is always best. Hopefully we will have a mild winter much like 2012, when we were able to be outdoors as much as teams in the deep south, and won a school record 45 games !

Well, I just discovered that schools cannot start baseball practice until Feb 1st. I guess it is conditioning practice on Jan. 15th !

Looks like they can start Jan 27.

I feel like we started in mid Jan when I played, but wasn't d1 so idk if that changes things.

But lets be honest - they have non-mandatory (mandatory) team workouts all throughout the year, and now is no different.

They should be plenty prepared, but two weeks of official practice seems short. However, I suppose basketball only has about that as well, so maybe I am just not thinking about it correctly. haha

Thought I heard coach Nick say on the radio last Wed. night that practice started Friday. It is supposed to be partly sunny today (Saturday) and about 43 degrees.
I believe Cohen and Hendo used to say it 40 degrees or better, they were heading out to the Cliff !
