Dude has 2 national titles the last 3 seasons OP. Don't ever change.
Not sure how long MIke Bobo can last there. Georgia's offense is about as predictable and unimaginative as Gran's was here. Brut force with not much balance just doesn't work that well in the SEC these days.
Kirby will get some heat over Bobo, already is. Bobo and Searels, ol coach, were terrible hires, and so was the off season WR coaching hire, leading the country in drops. Bobo should step down or force his best friend to fire him. But I doubt he will. But our offense has flirted with this all season, and our backup hasn't played any.

People can blame Bobo, and maybe rightfully so, but Georgia lost their playmakers last year.
Georgia's defense isn't up to the normal Georgia defense level either.
The Dawgs have also played one of, imo, the roughest schedules in football. At Bama, at Florida, at Texas, at UK, at Ole Miss.
If they really want to get rid of Smart and Bobo I can think of a place for them to go. Just need to make a bit of room.

Always been a fan of his. He’s got his quirks and he’s had his bumps in the road, but overall he finds players and wins.
The pace Kirby was on there for a few years is unsustainable. Especially in today’s SEC. Top to bottom there’s just too many good coaches with too much fire power.
I mean look what Bama did to LSU. Brian Kelly is no schlep, and LSU has dudes…Deboer looked like he was in the PAC again just scoring at will.
It’s going to be interesting going forward watching top tier programs and how they adjust their expectations in the new era of football.

Kirby is elite. Many of his assistant coaches are not. To think in 2021 he had Dan Lanning (HC of the #1 team in the country) and Todd Monken (OC of the Baltimore Ravens) on staff. Their replacements, along with many others, are not near that same level. Smart does seem to suffer recently with the plague of wanting to hire friends and make comfort hires. If KS aspires to return to that level of dominance or come even close to a Saban legacy, he will have to look himself in the mirror and make a lot of tough decisions in the off season. Georgia looks like a poorly coached team this year given all of that talent they have.
IMO, Kirby missed on his last 4 offensive hires and last 2 defensive hires. Bobo was awful under Richt and still is, the only reason he was hired is because he is Kirby's best friend. I am clueless why he hired Stacey Searels as OL coach, he's been bad at multiple schools for 30+ years, the WR coach has us leading the country in drops, all 3 are old rethreads and if retained Kirby will get some heat for it. He hired a DB coach from USC, and to his credit he has our DBs playing the way Riley likes. Beck has a GF that is an internet star, and as the old saying goes is undefeated. Next year will be rough, we have signed 12 OL projects the last 2 years that Hack and me can turn the edge on.
