Hindsight is 20/20
In hindsight, scangarello has not been a successful hire. Neither has Yenser.
None of that changes the fact that this game was called poorly from the jump.
Hindsight is 20/20
Sure, but foresight isn't blind either. Unless I missed it, we hadn't run that play all year.Hindsight is 20/20
Yeah. You save certain plays for certain teams. If that play gets blocked it may have gone big.Sure, but foresight isn't blind either. Unless I missed it, we hadn't run that play all year.
Any "reasonable man" would have foreseen that the risk/reward of asking a RB who, again, unless I missed it, has never previously been asked to make that flip exchange to do so at our own 25 on the first play of the game was not worth the risk.
He hasn't been in the program 3 years lol.....He’s been in the program 3 years. He’s a backup for a reason.
Sheron had a week to prepare what the coach’s thought would work. I wonder if they ever asked him what he felt comfortable doing on offense. You bash the players in all sport constantly. It get old.
Are you saying most in sec after 6 games ? For a season? For a UK team? What are you saying?Fire that DAMN OLINE coach NOW.
big difference in Levis and Sheron. Levis does it some. Not all the time. But some. Sheron was out there running for his life tonight. Ooor guy did all he could.According to many on here it's all on the QBs. Now both of them just sit back there too long and take them. I just can't understand why the new OC is not telling them not to do this..
Most sacks given up for a season. In 15 years. Are you saying most in sec after 6 games ? For a season? For a UK team? What are you saying?
😂😂😂😂😂big difference in Levis and Sheron. Levis does it some. Not all the time. But some. Sheron was out there running for his life tonight. Ooor guy did all he could.
If I’m Stoops the OLine coach is out of a job.
Damn . That’s almost unbelievable! Most sacks given up for a season. In 15 years.
It’s not SEC quality football. That line wouldn’t make it in the damn MEAC.
Every coordinator ask a QB what plays they like. They said on the broadcast the OC said he liked to throw over the middle.Sheron had a week to prepare what the coach’s thought would work. I wonder if they ever asked him what he felt comfortable doing on offense.
Kentucky really went from Big Blue Wall to Little Blue Picket Fence this year. 😥Damn . That’s almost unbelievable!
Gotta thin about it. USC had 4 coming into the game total. FOUR.Damn . That’s almost unbelievable!
More like Blue Screen Door on a Submarine.Kentucky really went from Big Blue Wall to Little Blue Picket Fence this year. 😥
It doesn't even deserve to be capitalized at this point, TBH. Lol.More like Blue Screen Door on a Submarine.
Bashing the players. SadMore like Blue Screen Door on a Submarine.
Actually , Bryce Young was sacked 39 times last year . There were 3 other quarterbacks sacked over 30 times in the sec last year . So your original post isn’t really true . Still doesn’t mean our oline is ok though. Will was sacked 22 times the entire season last year . I don’t think our Offensive Coordinator is helping any either .Gotta thin about it. USC had 4 coming into the game total. FOUR.
Sacks really aren’t that common. You maybe get 1. Two a game if your defense is good.
So a bad team my give up twenty+ in a season. We’ve given that many in SIX games.

No. OL is the worst portion of the team. Period. Kicking game is not great but giving up 25 sacks in six games is inexcusable, indefensible, and worthy of somebody’s ass being fired.Cats needed to not get behind. Instead they ran a failed trick play and gave away 7 before the game even started.
It would've been tough but we were good enough to win without will. Line up run the ball and throw short when we had to.
Second half, sc just stacked everything and dared is to throw. With the backup we just couldn't. It is what it is.
More than the OL every poster should be asking wth is going on with the kicking game. Blocked punt and missed FG early were both brutal and with the failed trick play helped set the bad tone.
Then SEC Network had it wrong.Actually , Bryce Young was sacked 39 times last year . There were 3 other quarterbacks sacked over 30 times in the sec last year . So your original post isn’t really true . Still doesn’t mean our oline is ok though. Will was sacked 22 times the entire season last year . Hard to defend this Oline...so I won't mu,ch.big difference in Levis and Sheron. Levis does it some. Not all the time. But some. Sheron was out there running for his life tonight. Ooor guy did all he could.

Motion penalties...3 different WRs with motion penalties in the 2D Half. I don't know if I've ever seen that.Hard to defend this Oline...so I won't mu,ch.
But Sheron, who was already in shotgun, keeps backpedaling all night long. Buford and Horsey can't keep edge rushers off if at 6 yards off LOS in shotgun you keep drifting back to 10 yards off LOS. You have to stay in pocket and deliver the ball and get it out of your hand quick at times.....
But the motion penalties are not acceptable when you can't afford to get behind chains with back up QB.
It's been a disaster year for Yenser....I don't know if he can keep this job at this point.
Lol. That play worked real well against the scout team defense. You don’t think they practiced that play? You don’t think they told him to tuck and run if it blew up?
Will Spencer Rattler be the answer to take you guys to 7-5 again?I ask these questions only half jokingly:
Has your OLine coach considered updating his 1959 edition of “ The Art of Pass Blocking?”
does KY lead the conference in fewest holding penalties on pass plays?
……………….
Your guys looked like they were run blocking on pass plays. Hands can legally be used in pass blocking
I honestly can’t tell if it’s the O-line coach or the blocking concept/scheme he is being asked to implement. Everyone knows we are lacking the talent our past lines had but , SO MANY missed blocking assignments!Hard to defend this Oline...so I won't mu,ch.

OL coach needs to do a better job of teaching holding, other SEC schools have clearly mastered it.I honestly can’t tell if it’s the O-line coach or the blocking concept/scheme he is being asked to implement. If there’s a stat for sack differential we have be near or at the top (or the bottom, depending on how you look at it). Most sacks given up for a season. In 15 years.

I thought about this on the way home last night. After watching several sec games this year it sure seems to me that a point of emphasis to officials this year was to NOT call as many penalties and especially holding calls. I’ve seen multiple uncalled holds by opponents while the official was starring right at it . Are we trying to play “ too clean” ?I ask these questions only half jokingly:
