@ Oklahoma Wednesday

I think must win for kentucky for seeding wise
Looks like we will have everyone back except Kerr, so we'd better win. The pollsters and seed predictors are keeping us stable due to taking into account our minor injury situation. This means they expect us to be tough and win when at nearly full strength. So tomorrow night has to be a strong win, not just a win. Then Auburn rolls in Saturday and we need to lay it on Brucie and his Homies.

I’m sure it’s a sell out and “the best atmosphere” they’ve had this season tonight……still though, we do what we do and for the love of humanity stop with the CARELESS turnovers and we win. I love Amari but he can’t have 4 in one half like Saturday alone & Pope has got to be aware of lineups when he subs. AA & BG cannot be in the game at the same time unless absolute necessity.

Kentucky is 12th in the NET with 8 Q1 wins and only 1 loss outside of Q1 and a SOS (Strength of Schedule) of 9th.

Clemson is 22nd in the NET (compared to our 12th) with 4 Q1 wins and 3 losses outside of Q1 SOS of 89th. BracketMatrix has Clemson comfortably a 6 seed with many putting them at a 7 seed. NO ACC team is jumping 2 or 3 seed lines in the last 2 weeks, especially given they play 4 unranked teams down the stretch, 3 of which are HORRIBLE.

Memphis is 47th in the NET with 6 Q1 wins and 3 losses outside of Q1 and SOS of 112th. BracketMatrix compilations have EVERYONE listing Memphis as a 6-8 seed, with most leaning 7 or 8.

Not sure if you just grabbed those 2 teams at random or threw darts at a board or something but neither of those teams have ANY path to a top-4 seed. None whatsoever.

Wisconsin, Texas Tech and Mizzou have all lost to unranked teams in the last 7 days. Texas A&M has lost back to back games and still has to play @ Florida and vs. Auburn, and we have the head to head win over them.

The doom and gloom just isn't adding up to me at this juncture. If we're healthy down the stretch here, we should be able to hold serve. But it ALL has to start by winning a Q1 game on the road tomorrow and getting us to 9 Q1 wins. Find a way to beat Auburn in Rupp with a healthy squad, and win ONE down in Nashville, and we have 11 (ELEVEN) Q1 wins, 8 of which would be Q1A.

That is a 3 seed resume without a doubt.

And just like that, down goes Iowa State to a really, really, REALLYYYY bad Oklahoma State team. I mean one of the worst teams in all of Power-5 basketball, and Iowa State goes down.

They've now lost 2 in a row with games still to play against Arizona (who already beat them this year) and BYU.

Just another example- our resume just simply doesn't have the bad losses that so many other top resumes have.

It all comes down to tonight. They win tonight and the 3 seed is gettable, but they need tonight
