An oil baron was arrested in Utah. He is a grad of BYU. He got busted for smuggling in $300 million of oil from the cartails in Mex. I think BYU may have taken a hit to their collective that was buying their players.

Man you are hosed every which way possible in that dudes scenario. Feds and the cartels on your ass? Hope that big ugly house he had was worth living the rest of his life in constant fear with the added bonus of being in prison.

If he pursued it I agree. I’ve read about a few instances where they just show up in small rural towns out West and say wash my money or whatever their directive is. And in those small towns when they own the law enforcement it gets real hairy for the people they shake down.
Even if he was a bag handler for BYU--this would be easily replaced. That University has bags upon bags to utilize.
Pretty wild story. This drug cartel just flat out stole over $300 million in crude oil from Pemex (Mexico’s national oil company), and were using this Mormon dude to move it into the US.

Gotta be honest, I think I'd just sign up for club med fed prison the rest of my life. I'd have no interest in ever seeing one of those "cartail" members again if I were this dude.
Prison won’t protect you from a cartel is the scariest part for this guy. Rat and your whole family could end up paying the price. Really one of the worst positions you could be in. Only real option is go to jail, keep your mouth shut and hope for the best.
It came across the wires last night that our Government has cut a deal with Guzman in exchange for his cooperation in ratting out everyone else his family gets safety in the US.

I've been wondering where BYU was getting all their NIL money from. Maybe this is the answer.
So did the Teamsters. Will revealing this have us ending up like Jimmy Hoffa? The Great Basin and Four Corners areas have a lot of hiding spots.
