Define "seriously relevant". And no you are not a fan if you think that. Why even go to games if you think that way?

I don't go to football games often as I have 4 kids under 12...we cannot do anything on weekends...especially Saturday's.
I do root for the Football Cats but I can assure you they will never win at a high level consistently (9+ wins per season), ever.
We are a middle of the pack SEC team in a good year and bottom of the barrel in the bad years. We simply do not have the resources, whether it be in state talent (mostly this), NIL, facilities, history, etc.
What I struggle to understand is how this is so confusing to football first fans at UK. We have 3 seasons above .500 record in SEC play in my lifetime and I will be 45 this year. Furthermore, we have something like 9 winning SEC seasons in more than 90 years in conference. Four of those in a 6 year stretch under Bear Bryant.
I'm not saying you bury the football program but rather allocate more resources to the program that is the #1 national brand and can compete for a title every season.
