NIL expert says Big East will be first, SEC last in revenue assigned to basketball …..

They had one bad year. This feels a lot like the Tubby situation. It may be time but the fan reaction to Stoops is disrespectful and unfair. This isn’t like Cal who was an ass and sucked for 5 years.
I think the problem with CMS is his fear of delegation. He's got to trust assistants. That said, we were, under CMS very competitive. He can control his trajectory

I mean we had a 4-8 record which included a win at #6 Ole Miss, playing UGA within 1 point. Losing to a great UTn team by six, and only a two-score loss at TX. Fla and USC were disasters , but they've shown they CAN compete.

UK football is terrible. Until Stoops is gone, put all the NIL money in the basketball program and go back to dominating colllege hoops. Is that an option?

This, but not only until Stoops is gone...but forever. UK will NEVER be seriously relevant in college football. I'm not a hater but a realist. I'm also a UK alum and fan...reality sucks sometimes guys.

Define "seriously relevant". And no you are not a fan if you think that. Why even go to games if you think that way?

Competing for a national championship.

I don't go to football games often as I have 4 kids under 12...we cannot do anything on weekends...especially Saturday's.

I do root for the Football Cats but I can assure you they will never win at a high level consistently (9+ wins per season), ever.

We are a middle of the pack SEC team in a good year and bottom of the barrel in the bad years. We simply do not have the resources, whether it be in state talent (mostly this), NIL, facilities, history, etc.

What I struggle to understand is how this is so confusing to football first fans at UK. We have 3 seasons above .500 record in SEC play in my lifetime and I will be 45 this year. Furthermore, we have something like 9 winning SEC seasons in more than 90 years in conference. Four of those in a 6 year stretch under Bear Bryant.

I'm not saying you bury the football program but rather allocate more resources to the program that is the #1 national brand and can compete for a title every season.
