Hate both of them. Would rather have UL and Tennessee play in the title game. Won’t watch itWell, OSU vs ND. Which do I dislike the least? Not that I was crazy about TX either.
I think the Buckeyes have the better team.

So either one team wins their first title in 35 years or the other wins their first in a decade, third in 22 years.Well, OSU vs ND. Which do I dislike the least? Not that I was crazy about TX either.

Can’t believe you hate ND. I used to but when you haven’t done shit in forever, I don’t care as much. Don’t have any issues with Freeman. Hated Holtz though and Brian Kelly.Hate both of them. Would rather have UL and Tennessee play in the title game. Won’t watch it
Tennessee! 😂. If UGA would have played them better then I guess ND gonna win it? They handled UGA.Texas didn’t beat anyone all season.
Who are the three that would’ve done better outside of Georgia?
Ewers is terrible. No heart. No care. Should’ve played manning.

NBC is their media mouthpiece, ESPN runs the show and we know which group they love. This idea that we should care how long it has been since a traditional power won a championship is crap. Who gives an eff? ND has the media kissing its arse every year. They don’t have the pressure of conference play. Cheering for OSU is hard, but they have earned their way to the NC.
Yeah, OSU went through a meat grinder - Tenn, Oregon and Texas - and earned their way to the championship game. Not a fan of either, but I hope they stomp "holier than thou" Notre LameNBC is their media mouthpiece, ESPN runs the show and we know which group they love.
I don’t care either way. As long as it wasn’t Alabama or Georgia, I didn’t care who wins this season.
OSU has earned all of this and got hot at the right time. ND hasn’t had a cakewalk but Oregon and Texas is pretty dang tough.
He is a clownWheres Matthew Mcconaclown and that dumb hat and jacket. 🤣
The 07 LSU team won the NC with 2 losses. the team that UK beat in 3OT. And arky beat in OT as well.Unless Notre Dame wins, this will be like only the second time in 100+ years a two loss team won a national title (without the BS claims of a share).
Yep. The 07 season was the craziest in my lifetime and so crazy that a two loss team won it all. That’s how jacked up it was when teams kept losing. The 07 LSU team won the NC with 2 losses. the team that UK beat in 3OT. And arky beat in OT as well.
What? That would be Tennessee. And we have no idea how good Texas actually is since they didn’t beat anyone all year.ND is the weakest opponent OSU has faced n the playoff. Osu by 21.

I thought Texas and Oregon spent more than Notre Dame? I thought Georgia was right there with ND as well but could be wrong on them.Would be interesting to know, but its fair to guess the two biggest spenders are in the title game. I suspect that will continue to be a pattern and the same northern teams will continue to thrive until nil is reigned in.
Osu is paying a fortune in just coaching salaries.

Lol there is prob only 2 teams I would want ND to beat and that is U6 and Tenn. I would pull for the taliban or isis against them. 😝Hate both of them. Would rather have UL and Tennessee play in the title game. Won’t watch it
They will never get a bye if they keep that in tact. They could be undefeated, the clear #1 team in the nation and the highest they will be is a 5 seed.Financially, it makes no sense to join a conference and I wouldn't either getting to keep all of my playoff money instead of sharing it. As a college football fan, I like the model of being able to schedule whoever you want and on paper going into the season, it was a pretty good schedule.
Preseason rankings of No. 10 FSU, No. 20 TAMU, No. 24 USC. Then when they did play the teams, Louisville, Army, and Navy were all ranked. There's times when you don't even get that i n the Big Ten. Unlike most of the last 30 years, they have proven they're legit this season. They're 4-0 vs the Big Ten which was the best conference, and 2-0 vs the SEC which includes the conference champ.
As far as the 12 team goes, there's no way they can ever get a bye without being in a conference, right?

As for ND and not being in a conference…I’ve always chuckled at people who think that means they always play a weak schedule. Their schedule every year includes 5 ACC schools, USC and Navy. Stanford used to be an annual opponent, but I believe they join the ACC rotation now.
They then play a number of P4 games outside of those 7. Next year, they have Texas A&M, Arkansas and Purdue and also have Boise State.
Their biggest advantage, until now, has been that they haven’t had to play a conference championship game. Now, I’m not sure it matters.
You know 20 years ago, if you said you had a conference that was FSU, Miami, Clemson, VaTech, and Notre Dame as a defacto member, people would think it would be at the top. Now that’s mostly like catching the pretty girl from high school as a fat 40 something ready to settle down. 😂 Clemson and FSU have had some good years the last decade so hopefully that returns. They will never get a bye if they keep that in tact. Under no circumstances can anyone justify a bye for a team who didn’t win their own conference. Some suits in a boardroom saying you should get a bye because of your name is crazy to me. Either make it 16 or make it 8 to get rid of byes or continue to prioritize conference champs as is. But the idea that a third place conference team getting a bye is laughable to me.Their biggest advantage has been $$$$$. And, then conference championship. Acting as if playing a partial ACC schedule is a big deal is kind of funny, but that rabbit hole is what it is.
In the current era, a conference team may have a down schedule (for the B1G and SEC, that still means a lot of tough teams), but the best two teams (those considered for the 12) have to play a very tough game at season end, regardless. ND gets that bye (but let’s not pretend if ND were in the B1G or SEC a conference championship would be a regular gig - it would not, at least historically in the pre-NIL era).
If the playoff gods change the seeding for The 12, and it should, ND should never get a bye, because it never has to play a conf championship game. Boise State should never get a bye, for obvious reasons.
UGA paid 24 mil on their total staff this year and OSU 19. The SEC still has 8 of the 12 highest paid coaches. The BIG is not spending more for coachesGeorgia is definitely way down the list. Oregon probably did spend that much. Texas spent a good deal too but lots of it sunk into a backup qb that should've been the starter. Even so, texas and Oregon were right there too which further proves my point.
The across the board spend from these programs is nuts. Both teams in the title game are spending over 2 mil on each coordinator. God knows what they are spending on position coaches. Add in their across the board roster spend and the total cost is crazy.
So if anyone thinks uk is competing on that level anytime soon, better think again. It sucks but expectations need to be adjusted at least until nil is reigned in.
