But why do we continue to throw deep to Brown. Key should be our fade jump ball win the 1v1 50/50 ball guy.
Browns big plays should come from play design and streaking open on skinny post or cop routes w speed. Not lobbing it down field
This was an issue last season as well. It’s like they fall in love w his speed and think he can just run by the secondary but it’s almost always a wasted down
Edit: The one he caught on the next drive is a perfect example of what I’m talking about. Play design using a double move tk get the DB to bite and then the speed to blow by and streak open. Not just a fade/go jump ball

Man, I worried that NIL was gonna crush UK, but there’s another narrative here on the transfer market. A coaching staff with an eye for talent and the ability to develop players? Stoops could keep raising the ceiling for UK football.

Only thing I can think of is he a tackle and not built to be a guard.
I'd wager that he practices way better than he performs in games and the coaches are waiting for it to click for him.
If UK does go undefeated, there are a lot of UK fans that will have to pay off on a lot of wild promises made in that area

Those are the throws I don’t get with Leary, he had key wide open and overthrew him by like 6 or 7 yards
Leary's pocket presence is incredible. Such a massive improvement
Leary is elusive in the pocket. He is very calm in the pocket too.
Great awareness and scramble by Leary there for the first down!
