********OFFICIAL GAME THREAD*********

The sad things is we are getting some breaks for the road team and we just can't do anything with them. We too several steps back tonight. We have that deer in headlights look.

He's a great coach who gets in his own way because like lots of great coaches he's stubborn. Cal wants out teams to resemble NBA rosters. He's too interested in it to the point is hurts what he's trying to accomplish. It's not complicated..... Briscoe is a true guard. He cannot shoot, at all. He really shouldn't be at UK. It should be a deal breaker.

I don't disagree, Cal deserves criticism as much as praise. Something just makes me think i remember Briscoe being a better shooter before he arrived in Lex.

talent-wise this is similar to the 2013 team. Mass exodus year before and incoming guys not nearly as skilled.

This feels just like the UCLA game - even when we cut it to 4, you never had the feeling we'd win. Poythess useless, fouling out, can't shoot. Almost the same game.

Getting pushed around and bullied by a team that isn't very good is extremely frustrating.

Start getting Hump minutes. We still don't really have a true bigman, even for next year.

But no, he'll get another 30 minutes the rest of the year. And when we need him next year, he just won't be ready.

Leading rebounders tonight are Mulder with 8 and Briscoe with 6. That's just sad.

Mulder is the guy that didn't get any meaningful minutes in a blowout game Saturday. Then, he gets tossed into this pressure cooker. I don't see how anyone can defend this nonsense. This is knee jerk at best.

Cal blows the 08 title game because his players can't hit.

He blows the 2010 title game because they couldn't hit.

HE wins the title in 2012 with the best percentage shooter he's ever had.

He goes to the NIT the following year because he recruited players like Goodwin who offer nothing but one dimensional aspects to their game and couldn't hit anything outside.

He answers it in 2015 by recruiting a player like Briscoe.

It's starting to resemble the definition of insanity. When is he going to start learning from these mistakes. We might stay talented but he won't make the impact he could have.

Cal has no clue what he's doing. But when you recruit a team that has absolutely no roster balance this is what you end up with. A mish mash of weak, soft players that can't shoot at all.

NIT.

This team struggles at times and may even get bounced before sweet 16. but this is not an NIT team even as bad as they played tonight.
