Off topic concerning my health

Had my second amount of cancer this time with bladder and prostate. Went through chemo and radiation and the results of a pet scan are in and they don't see any more cancer in my body. So I will be here longer to pester you guys
Dave, you are one of the great ones that post here. I wish you nothing but the best. I look forward to anything you post on here.

Great news, pray you stay healthy for years to come.

Great news, Dave! You've certainly had a rigorous battle on your hands and appears you've prevailed. I was diagnosed with Prostate cancer in August 2018 before it had spread but was spreading rapidly. I received 28 extra strength doses of radiation at the Sarah Canon Cancer Center in Nashville. Since then I meet semiannually with my Urologist and Oncologist. I hope you continue to be cancer free and that you can continue to pester us for many more years to come. LOL

Love that for you, brother. New perspective on life.

Very happy for you!!!

I’ve been thru chemotherapy once and I never want to take that ride again. Was told I needed radiation (as well as my chemo) and refused it. I’m relatively young (late teens early 20’s when diagnosed) but saw how hard it was for a close family member to go thru both at the same time. I was scared so I refused radiation. So they made my chemo much stronger. Luckily without radiation I somehow made it with a clean bill of health at the end.

So I salute you! I can’t imagine how tough it was.

You are one strong person. Enjoy your time with your family and friends. Wishing many more years for you and yours. You deserve it.

I've been playing The back nine for quite a while now. Today I hit a very long putt on the 17th green. You know that feeling don't you? So I'm going to take my time strolling to the 18th tee with a big smile on my face

I dodged my bullet a few months ago with a lot of blood clots. After 2 surgeries and a possible 3rd, I finally feel like I dodged that bullet for good. Makes me appreciate being around my wife and little girl. Unless you know what it feels like that it might all Be taken from you is hard to understand the relief of being given it all back. So happy for you, make it count, enjoy life.
