Not Ranked within 2 weeks

If Cal walks into Rupp with that lackluster roster and beats us, I might just lose it.
First of all, that is not a lackluster roster.
Aidoo was 1st team all-SEC center.
Nellie Davis was AAC POY and the #1 player in the Portal.
DJ Wagner, well you know his credentials.
Thiero has grown into the monster player UK fans knew he could be if given the chance to play.
Knox is a McDonald's AA 5 star future first round draft pick.
Boogie, First rounder. ( I know, I know).
Brazile is a nightmare matchup for us and most teams that do not have a tall athletic 4 that can guard in space.
Oh, and Z. Can you see Williams hustling to the 3 point line to cover Z on that step back 3??

The only thing holding that team back is the maestro. Just hope he doesn't come to his senses before Saturday.

This Arkansas team has as much talent as almost any team in the SEC not named Alabama, Auburn, or TN.

This is on par with the “Worse than Cal” garbage thread that you started, but it’s all about the clicks eh?
No, it's about calling out what I see. I have no need at all for clicks. Getting it off my chest. The best thing I could do is just drop college sports from my hobby list as it is a disaster right now. Maybe it is a slow way of letting go. I don't ever see UK being what I remember growing up. It isn't Popes fault. It is where we are.

Fair enough. If you aren't enjoying Pope's first season, I'd 100% stop watching and find other use of your time. Anybody that thought this team woluld be 16-3 or 17-2 right now is living in a different world.

If Cal comes into Rupp and gets a win I promise you it's going to get really messy. You can say all you want that Pope didn't have time to make a roster, or he has already exceeded your expectations. Whatever, I'm telling you it will get very loud like it did when he was first hired if that happens.
The emotionally weak always bicch the loudest.

It’s wild, man! Everyone KNEW it was gonna be tough to win on the road in the SEC this year, yet here we are! Lmao Vanderbilt just beat Tennessee down there and more thoroughly than the final score indicated.
I’m honestly man there is some serious punk weak ass bitches posting this this loss I mean for God sakes we barely lost to Alabama and then we lost a Vanderbilt team at home that just beat a Tennessee team and honestly, I am sick of the weak ass soft posters we have Although I think many of more trolls because I never see their comments when this team wins

Don’t let them bother you man. You posted what you were thinking and feeling about the team, and a certain group always gets upset about it. It’s the same ones everytime to.

It is fair to say we probably will drop out of the top 25, but it's not the end of the world. Who would have honestly expected more with a patchwork team. It's better than starting off 0-5 in conference.
Vanderbilt is also a patchwork team. There are patchwork teams all over college basketball now. I still think we have the talent to compete with anyone. We just have to address our weak points and continue to improve.

It’s almost like the world changes as we age. We have two options: We can adapt and evolve or we can get left in the dust while pining for a yesterday that’s long gone.

The 2022-2023 UConn Huskies went 14-8 in the Big East and BE tournament with only 7 of the 22 games being against ranked teams before going on a hot streak to win the NCAA tournament. We have already played 4 ranked SEC teams and have 6 games against currently ranked teams ahead of us plus any ranked teams we may face in the SEC tournament. That also doesn't include Vandy who will likely be ranked this week. My point is we still have time to get the ship righted and if matchups fall right we can go on a run to get as far in the tournament as most of us would be happy with.

You are correct! This board is full of idiots. This team is not deep cannot afford not to have carr and butler not at 100%. Krissa is much better than Perry and is missed more than just what the stats show. If they don’t get healthy there won’t be many wins to be had the rest of the season. But people always want to rip the coach of players instead of accepting the unfortunate facts. Lots of classless and uninformed folks that love to make their misguided opinions known.
It's funny you're not even speaking entirely in complete sentences but have the gall to refer to other people as idiots.

After the UGA loss I looked at our next 9 games and predicted 5 losses. And that would drop us out of rankings. Unfortunately, I’m gonna be right. If we lose Tuesday then the Arky game is a push. They are a match nightmare for our squad. They will D us up and rebound every miss. I’m not optimistic.

I’m not sure why this team is so fragile

Krissa
Butler
Carr

And fragile mentally.

I thought dudes coming from mid major would be hungry and tough. Like the dudes we see from lower tier SEC teams. Dogs.
If you are wrong are you going to run and hide again?

Well their record says otherwise.

Lol Obviously my comments must be directed at you. I can’t believe I forgot the proper grammar I learned in college. Who would have “thunk” it was so important on a bb forum instead of what was stated. I will study up and do better in the future! 🤣

Having reviewed this thread I worry that I worry too little.

I mean, in the 80’s and 90’s, and even later, I could work up a worry like no one’s business. I wanted to fix Delk’s shot, wished we had real depth in ‘96, and (more recently) thought Anthony Davis just wasn’t really tall enough.

Frankly, I still have serious doubts we will win titles in ‘96 and ‘98 . . . they’re bound to find a way to beat those teams!
