Nellie Davis was AAC POY and the #1 player in the Portal.
DJ Wagner, well you know his credentials.
Thiero has grown into the monster player UK fans knew he could be if given the chance to play.
Knox is a McDonald's AA 5 star future first round draft pick.
Boogie, First rounder. ( I know, I know).
Brazile is a nightmare matchup for us and most teams that do not have a tall athletic 4 that can guard in space.
Oh, and Z. Can you see Williams hustling to the 3 point line to cover Z on that step back 3??

The only thing holding that team back is the maestro. Just hope he doesn't come to his senses before Saturday.

This Arkansas team has as much talent as almost any team in the SEC not named Alabama, Auburn, or TN.

Honestly 9-9 in conference play would be ok with me. Considering how brutal this conference is. And that this should be Popes least talented team while he’s here at Kentucky, that would still make us a tournament team. It is fair to say we probably will drop out of the top 25, but it's not the end of the world. Who would have honestly expected more with a patchwork team. It's better than starting off 0-5 in conference.

It’s almost like the world changes as we age. We have two options: We can adapt and evolve or we can get left in the dust while pining for a yesterday that’s long gone.

The 2022-2023 UConn Huskies went 14-8 in the Big East and BE tournament with only 7 of the 22 games being against ranked teams before going on a hot streak to win the NCAA tournament. We have already played 4 ranked SEC teams and have 6 games against currently ranked teams ahead of us plus any ranked teams we may face in the SEC tournament. That also doesn't include Vandy who will likely be ranked this week. My point is we still have time to get the ship righted and if matchups fall right we can go on a run to get as far in the tournament as most of us would be happy with.
