Norlander (CBS) reporting separation with Cal extremely unlikely

An employer usually doesn't let you have a hot mic night on a public radio station right before they plan to fire you. That should tell you everything you need to know.
Actually, they don't let you have a hot mic right AFTER they fire you. Before is fine. He might say something they can use against him.

Unless some top-tier recruits come out of the woodwork, I don’t see next year being an improvement.
If he’s back, got to work the portal. I saw Meechie Johnson entered the portal, lets grab him! Next year’s team seems like it’ll be 2018 all over again as it stands. If we need to push some recruits out or hurt their feelings getting older players, so be it.

The point is to keep them from saying detrimental long term to the program. They wouldn’t be letting him do it before or after. It's not like he wouldn't have a good idea it was coming if it was.

What’s the chances this guy trolled him? Known troll account posted this and the wording is almost the same as the CBS guy. Idk you be the judge

If they were worried about him being detrimental to the program, they would have fired him 5 years ago.

And nobody listens to that show. Nothing he could say on there would damage the program.

People should keep suggesting Barnhart get fired. That’s very productive and totally likely to happen

People here have no clue how an actual public university works. Everyone thinks the basketball program is priority #1 and it’s not even close. The program had revenue of $31 million last year. Research grants were over $500 million and UK healthcare had revenue of $4 billion.

This is fairly low on the board of trustees’ priority list right now.
