One of the articles I sent you is he wants to find balance and not have guys in the locker rooms making more than others. Just like our society has become, everyone should get a trophy. Nah, if you work hard and good you deserve more than those they don't.

Did you miss the part where I posted three different articles that included information where Mitch he didnt know enough about NIL. Then said he wanted balance because he didn't want the locker rooms and players to feel bad because someone else is making more than they are.
Barnhart didn’t even want NIL to begin with, if it was up to him NIL wouldn’t even be a thing. And the fact that you have to resort to name calling shows how big a loser you are. The only argument you brought up is the national deals Kentucky basketball gets, basketball was always going to get deals again because they are a national brand. Football and stoops had to beg for NIL to improve and finally got a collective set up, but they are still Not where they need to be.

I for one an not supportive of NIL contracts. Obviously the amount of money floating around goes against what the NCAA had to say about it, but NIL goes against what college athletics has always been about. The model has always been "you earn a scholarship based on your talents in said sport, and we pay for that scholarship as long as you do well in class". IMO there's such a thing as defending your integrity (and what college athletics has been about for decades and decades). I am not willing to go against my own values just to compete. Doing the right thing, at all costs, is my personal policy. It's one of the very few things I support Mitch on.

Years ago the players got like 130$ a month. I guess it has been like at least 8 years they started getting like 5k extra per year. I get not liking paying players. But I don’t want to play against teams that are paying to get players. If we did that we might as well drop down to division 3. The times change and you have to change or just use to getting drilled. As long as we all play by the same rules I am good!

That's a very tough thing. It's why many fans feel "left out". The game we grew up has changed I'm so many ways, and many of those ways are not for the better. They may as well get rid of "college degrees" at this point it appears that's what is going to happen.
Do you think the schools or the NCAA should keep all the money. I still enjoy the games. I looked at the mock draft for the NBA and it had quite a few g league players didn’t even know the guys. I really enjoy college games. I like it as much now as ever. Just really enjoy when the Cats are playing great!!

Because for the longest time it was about (a) scholarships and walk-on's, (b) an education and (c) using money from tickets and concessions to pay staffing, administration costs, upkeep and upgrades. That's how most of us growing up on college sports see it. It was never intended to be given to the players.
The courts changed all that. You will have to accept the way it is or just quit watching. I still enjoy the games players getting some money doesn’t bother me any.

FOH, I know UK fully supports NIL. I know people who say we don’t are lying and can’t give one shred of evidence to back up their claim. LOL at UK fans negative recruiting against UK and telling the world we don’t support NIL here. To negative recruit UK you would have to show a recruit comments from a UK message board.

All through the years of college basketball, star players have been paid. Now everyone can get a little bit of the cheese but the star players will always get the most.
Money is always there but the colleges do not want the money to shift from their control. Coaches are always two faced and sanctimonious. The coach preaches loyalty, sacrifice and toughness but when the s**t hits the fan for them, they usually fall short.
I always hear this coach or that coach is a micromanager and knows every detail that goes on in their program and but when something goes wrong doesn't have a clue why something happens.
