Nike Peach Jam over: 2024, 2025, 2026 targets recruiting followup

Is anyone else surprised how few Nike targets there are this year? The combination of not being real threats for the elite Nike guys and the spread to Adidas and Puma just makes this weekend feel less exciting for 2025 recruiting.

Someone add folks I’m missing that we’ve been really talked about with, as I’d love to follow with a little more interest.

Plenty of Nike targets. I just read UK has stepped it up with Caleb Wilson.
The Boozers, Dybantsa, Brandon McCoy Jr, and Stokes to name a few others.

Lewis sees himself as a “point guard slash combo guard.” He wants to be able to play alongside other high-level guards.

“You have to be able to play off-ball,” he said. “I could end up on a team with Kyrie [Irving] or Luka [Doncic] in the NBA and I’ll need to find different ways to score.”

This kid shows a lot of maturity in his comments. It sounds like wherever pope puts him he'll be a team player. The more team first guys the better.

Caleb Wilson’s first official visit was to Kentucky and he chose an eventful time to check out Lexington. He got there right when 7-foot-2 Croatian center Zvonimir Ivisic arrived on campus.

“The basketball culture is ridiculous,” Wilson said. “That’s what stood out to me. Of course, since it was my first visit, I was like, this is crazy. Big Z was like a legend out there. It was funny. It’s a crazy basketball culture.”

Now that Calipari has left and Mark Pope is in, the culture hasn’t changed for Wilson. It’s not something he’s concerned with
