New Paintings of Scoreboard?

Something like this, and Backlit. I would rather have what was there originally just the silver and the UK logo than any of these.

What is up with the UK they have on that twitter post? It looks like a generic version of the real UK logo in the above pic.
With the above image I say use steel rods to make the logo stick away from the board and back light it like many have said. That would look sick and be noticeable from quite a distance.
No I was just adding to the posters examples of using 'til only in songs. Beastie Boys spelled it TILL. Personally I could care less how it's spelled since that won't even be what the final sign will look like......"guy".
I guess they're gonna stick with the fisher price UK symbol. I just don't see how a university has someone in charge of design decisions that are this bad.
I have come to the conclusion that UK is right at or over budget on the renovation and when it came to discussions of where to cut costs the scoreboard design was on that list. I am over it. The new one is better than the other and at least they can come up with something better and add it later when the funds are there. Just ready for football to start!
Actually, I had this very same thought. They really haven't seemed to cut any corners on the renovation until this. But what would it cost to do something really nice to the West scoreboard this year since it is what most fans see and then do the East one next year?

I think UK is getting back at all the complainers about the scoreboard by not updating the live construction cameras today. They are still showing them in the dark and not updated since 0430.
As of yesterday, they you could see the new graphic they are putting up on the scoreboard inside the stadium which looks really nice. Will be the same font as on the field put will have the checkered pattern background like they are incorporating in other areas of the stadium and field. Adds a nice touch and much better than the old one with the black background that so may folks did not like.
As much as many have complained about the outside of the boards, we should equally give a lot of credit for the inside one they are installing now.
