Not only that. The use of 'til is usually frowned upon. Looks like they had Herby the painter come up with something. Why waste money on design?
You would think out of 120 mil, they could have given a couple grand to a professional painter to paint a badass mural on that scoreboard.
Please tell me that's photoshopped and this is a joke...no UK logo? Heck, even an SEC logo..that's just not the place for our fight song lyrics..this is what I'm talking about, Mitch makes one good decision and follows it by making three bad ones
Good Lord, that is truly awful. That needs to be painted over immediately. Going to look TERRIBLE, especially among the renovations. Cheap, tacky, stupid. Give it a white UK logo for goodness sakes.
What was wrong with this UK logo? There are some places where LESS is more and this is one of them..I mean the blue is fine, but just put a white UK logo on there or something, my goodness..I know we'll get labeled "negative nellies" or whatever, but it's because head-scratching stuff like this continues to happen
Yep, it's just a football field, let's paint it pink..come on dude..this is a multi-million dollar business where pleasing the FANS is your first priority..if football AD's used your logic they wouldn't worry about appearances at all...just because something isn't the Sistine Chapel doesn't mean appearances should be thrown out the window

It definitely needs a new look. I still think my avatar would look great up there.
No, it's not just a football field. It's not a football field at all. It's the back of a video board. The back. The part that nobody will be looking at during the game, and probably won't care about enough to look at the back of before, or after the game, because people will either be tailgating or going home. Far too busy to stare at the video board and curse Mitch Barnhart for putting words from the fight song on the back of it.
We have a terrific field. Look at it, it's very nice. The logo is being put in several places on the field. Let's try not to overdo it. People know where they are playing when they go to Lexington, they don't need 50 massive logos painted throughout the stadium to help them figure it out.
It's a multi-million dollar business where pleasing fans is the top priority, but do you know what I care about more than what's written on the back of the video boards? How our players are playing on the field. That's what will please me. If this is something that will keep you from enjoying your game-day experience, and keep you from buying tickets and supporting our team, then shame on you. This is the most trivial thing that you could possibly pick to complain about regarding our stadium.
As long as we win some of these so called "battles" I'm cool with whatever!
I don't necessarily think it looks great, but I do like that phrase in our fight song and like that we are trying to incorporate it more often.
