And some overall records. They a bit lazy in their team evaluating.Dirty Birds vaulted 5 spots to #14, sweeping those powerhouses Va. Tech and Pitt.
Voters love them some ACC, and Big Ten, don't they.
A bit lazy might be too nice. The vast majority of AP voters don't even watch the games. They just look at which teams win and lose and move teams up or down accordingly. And some overall records. They a bit lazy in their team evaluating.
I don't know if the NCAA still looks at the last ten games as much much as they used to but we will probably end up 5/6 range assuming we go 1-1 this week and 1-1 in the SECMaybe they can get us down to a 6 seed by the time selection sunday is here. But the ranking feels about right, agreed.
The ACC is so weak...dUKe will be the only team from the ACC to make it to the Sweet 16\E8. I don't think they will make the FF though. All it takes is for Flagg to have an off night against a good team, and they are toast.Dirty Birds vaulted 5 spots to #14, sweeping those powerhouses Va. Tech and Pitt.

They actually took that out in 2009.I don't know if the NCAA still looks at the last ten games as much much as they used to but we will probably end up 5/6 range assuming we go 1-1 this week and 1-1 in the SEC
Ah ok. Thanks for letting me know.! I hadn't heard it mentioned for a while .(turns out it wad 16 years I guess. Time flies when you get older🤣)They actually took that out in 2009.
I thought it was more recent so I had to look it up. Sucks getting old!Ah ok. Thanks for letting me know.! I hadn't heard it mentioned for a while .(turns out it wad 16 years I guess. Time flies when you get older🤣)
If we go one and one this week, we’ll be much closer to four than five nowhere near six.. a 20 and 11 Kentucky team with their strength schedule and the record against rank teams might be a five but most likely at fourThey actually took that out in 2009.
Duke is looking more and more like a S16 loss to a team like Texas A&M or Missouri. The ACC is so weak...dUKe will be the only team from the ACC to make it to the Sweet 16\E8. Who is they? Still a 3 seed today per LunardiMaybe they can get us down to a 6 seed by the time selection sunday is here. But the ranking feels about right, agreed.
We go 1-1 this week and win an SEC tourney game and no way we would be lower than a 4 seed.I don't know if the NCAA still looks at the last ten games as much much as they used to but we will probably end up 5/6 range assuming we go 1-1 this week and 1-1 in the SEC
We're gonna benefit from it this year, we've seen in other years a team who struggles early and is super hot late getting a weaker seed than their real strength suggests because of some bad losses in November. Our slate of wins from last fall is going to help carry us.I don't know if the NCAA still looks at the last ten games as much much as they used to but we will probably end up 5/6 range assuming we go 1-1 this week and 1-1 in the SEC
Agree. We lost to the #1 team in the nation yet we dropped more than others. Feels biased.A bit lazy might be too nice. The vast majority of AP voters don't even watch the games. They just look at which teams win and lose and move teams up or down accordingly.
They probably don't have time to watch all the top 25 games but they could at least watch the highlights. You can do that in 10-15 mins a game.A bit lazy might be too nice. I agree ... it seems to be legit. Having said that, we really need to get these next two (2) games. GO CATS !!!
We barely scrapped by a bottom dweller and then got our asses handed to us at home.Agree. We lost to the #1 team in the nation yet we dropped more than others. Feels biased.
UK only dropped 2 spots I don’t know if I would call it bias.Agree. We lost to the #1 team in the nation yet we dropped more than others. Feels biased.
Probably can’t stand all the hype the SEC gets in all the other sports.. I mean… this conference pretty much runs shit 🤔Dirty Birds vaulted 5 spots to #14, sweeping those powerhouses Va. Tech and Pitt.

What? LmaoWe barely scrapped by a bottom dweller and then got our asses handed to us at home.
I mean we went on the road against a desperate bubble team with a 1 armed pg who fouled out and missing our best player and answered the bell in a thriller for our 9th Quad 1 win against a team that has beat Louisville, Michigan and ARZ.We barely scrapped by a bottom dweller and then got our asses handed to us at home.
Lets be honest we struggle with OU and got waxed by AU. 19 is very fairAgree. We lost to the #1 team in the nation yet we dropped more than others. Feels biased.

SEC is 30-4 against the ACC, unfortunately LSU lost 2 to them. Every SEC has a win against an ACC team. Hell even SC beat Clemson one of their best and one of our worse. The ACC is trash, half the teams have losing records. Remember the challenge we embarrassed them 14-2 and that was with us and Aub losing, on the road against their 2 best teams.Dirty Birds vaulted 5 spots to #14, sweeping those powerhouses Va.
