New AP Poll-Cats #19

And dumbass UofL fans are real loud about it. See. This is what I mean. Context don’t matter anymore. No one cares about it. I weep for the future because man, there is none right now the way everything is headed.

Dirty Birds vaulted 5 spots to #14, sweeping those powerhouses Va. Tech and Pitt.

Voters love them some ACC, and Big Ten, don't they.
The ACC is so weak...dUKe will be the only team from the ACC to make it to the Sweet 16\E8. I don't think they will make the FF though. All it takes is for Flagg to have an off night against a good team, and they are toast.

The pollsters don't watch the games. They mainly base it on overall record. We have 10 losses so we are gonna keep dropping. We are the top ranked 10 loss team n the poll.

Go 1-1 this week should keep us in the AP top 25 to finish regular season. Not bad really with all the injuries we’ve had. We won games I thought we would lose and lost games I thought we would win.

If we go one and one this week, we’ll be much closer to four than five nowhere near six.. a 20 and 11 Kentucky team with their strength schedule and the record against rank teams might be a five but most likely at four

We should be a 4. I think we need to win first sec tourney game to clinch that though.

I dont trust the committee. They can justify whatever to rig it or screw a team seed wise to make better tv matchups. I don't like that the committee knows JR is done for season with 2 weeks to scheme against UK.

Better than I thought we would be. We certainly aren't playing like a top 20 team.

If they rank on ability we are better than that. No one will want UK in their bracket.

I don't know if the NCAA still looks at the last ten games as much much as they used to but we will probably end up 5/6 range assuming we go 1-1 this week and 1-1 in the SEC
We're gonna benefit from it this year, we've seen in other years a team who struggles early and is super hot late getting a weaker seed than their real strength suggests because of some bad losses in November. Our slate of wins from last fall is going to help carry us.

A bit lazy might be too nice. The vast majority of AP voters don't even watch the games. They just look at which teams win and lose and move teams up or down accordingly.
They probably don't have time to watch all the top 25 games but they could at least watch the highlights. You can do that in 10-15 mins a game.
