Need Some Betting Advice For NFL

I'm not a gambler really. Just tried out Draft Kings for the new promotion. Only did like $10 and won $20. I believe we have to use the $200 promo in a week but must use at least $5 of your own money and then you can do $25 in bonus winnings with it. I don't really watch the NFL. Looking for some sure things (well as sure as you can get in gambling 😂) to make 4 bets on. Not really worried about winning big. Just need to win enough to do 4 more $5 bets to use the remaining $100 in bonus money so I don't have to deposit more money in it. Any good bets you all recommend?

Might just wait and bet on college games with it all for next Saturday. I don't know how often you can do no brainer bets. Would be crazy if you can keep doing them. I'd say screw the bonus money and keep doing these.

The $25 bonus bets expire eventually. Mine do Oct. 5. So make sure you use them before then. I'm going to use most of mine on props with nice payouts that I wouldn't otherwise waste money on. They're advertising a bunch now for the Falcons-Jaguars game. I watch a lot of NFL but that's a weird one because it's in London, Trevor Lawrence has been awful so far (he's probably due), Desmond Ridder hasn't shown much, and the Falcons run the ball more than any team in the league. Total crapshoot how much offense comes from that game.

There's all kinds of shit on there to bet on. If you're just looking to use up your bonus bets, scroll through and find some props or parlays that look appealing. They're always advertising them. They probably won't hit but you never know.

Don’t bet on the NFL. Would you bet money on a WWE match? Many other better sports to bet on. If you want to wet your whistle and bet props, etc. that’s one thing.

I got 2 BBs left on Draftkings that end 10-5, will use them somehow today on Pros. As mentioned above Prop bets a good way to use BBs I need to look around this morning to see what I can find. I have mentioned in other threads ESPN2 has a show called Daily Wager that has a good panel that discusses bets. They really dig into Pro games and Prop Bets.

College football lines will be out tomorrow or today.

I think a safe way to use them is a money line parlay with 3 to 5 teams you feel extremely confident will win and they are favored somewhere between 6 and 14 points.

This weekend I did a 9 team parlay with the teams I felt most confident in:
Maryland, Tenn, Alabama, Georgia, USC, Michigan, Texas, Oklahoma, Washington


25 bonus bet returned 49 dollars


No bet is safe, but I've had good luck using that formula

The bonuses expire this week but you don't have to bet on the games played this week, I used some of mine on next Sat college football games. You can place bets on on the World Series, Final Four, all kinds of future games. My point is you don't to waste them on today's NFL games just because they expire.

I tried $5 on KC to cover tonight and clicked to add the bonus $25 bet with it but it just replaced it. So does it cost nothing to use the $200 once you get it? How do you ever get a payout with the bonus money? Does that $25 bet go in my pocket if I win or is there some other catch?

To use a $25 BB the Bet has to just be a Bonus Bets can't add Cash and Vice Versa. If you win you only get the Payout of the Bet not the Bet itself. Most of my $25 BBs pay about $22 and that $22 goes right into your Account and that cash can be withdrawn

I did awesome and thanks to a few small things I could have had a 2 grand weekend. Atl not putting a touchdown on the board cost me a good ticket. I paired and built sum nice parlays and got really close on most everything. $712 for opening weekend and my vacation has been great to start. Need Seattle to win me sum money tomorrow night. Pretty sad now how they give you incentives to bet. It's always been that way but they are aggressive about it now. No different than a drug dealer giving a free line or two to get your hooked. Even worse, all the commercials now acting like betting is cool, when it's a gateway to financial ruins for many.

On Draft Kings it says there is a separate app for horseracing called DK Horse. I think they are 2 different accounts so you probably can't use the same money for both.

FD Racing also. You used to be able to use so-called “shared winnings” for each…horsies, fantasy, and sportsbook. They may have switched it to just fantasy/sportsbook so horse people may wanna make separate deposits.

I've been using offshore for years, so haven't paid much attention to the legal apps until now, but it is wild how much has been gamified carried over from daily fantasy with all the props, odds boosts, risk free bets, and group parlays, etc. I'm not anti-gambling by any stretch and am glad it's legal now, but I can definitely see these apps being way more addicting for degenerates than the old boring overseas websites that haven't been updated since 2005.

We're pretty much the same. I'm not against gambling but so many can't handle it. They can't take a set amount for a season and walk away when it's gone. I'm just disgusted at constantly seeing guys like Kevin Hart, etc. glorify it like it's cool. It's gotten incredibly reckless and totally out of control.
