Nebraska opening

I don't see a Stoops future for Neb but it could have a ripple effect. Brad White will get a HC job sooner rather than later, I can see Neb hiring a G5 and the G5 going after White.
Brad White's next move will be a head coaching job. He has nothing to gain by a lateral move, but he does not have enough of a professional resume yet to get a head coaching job in the Big 10. He will have to pay dues as a head coach in a lesser conference, or else stay in Lexington long enough to gain more recognition when UK wins the east or at least makes the playoffs. There is a lot of direct evidence in things White has said that shows White loves coaching at UK. I do not think he will go unless it is a really good opportunity for him.

Stoops is not going anywhere.

Don't know, several states use to have it, Nebraska, ND, SD, UTAH, MONTANA and probably Wyoming. Not too long ago there was a small private school league in GA that played 8 man. Very small number, 10-12 teams in a 60 mile radius of Atlanta. But once GHSA ruled home schooled kids could play for a team in their district they faded out and joined the GHSA or GISA. GISA is made up of very small private schools that seldom have a P5 player, ironically one about 25 years ago was top 5 in GA and signed with Nebraska. Another last name of Buggs made it to the NFL.
Doesn’t Kentucky have a 7 man division?

It was good to hear coach Scan say he is having the most fun he’s ever had coaching here right now. It seems since Liam Coen was hired Stoops has finally turned the reins over to the OC and not meddled near as much and we are seeing the results. It’s took a while but it’s been part of his maturation as a coach.

Basketball is third place at several schools.
Only because they suck at men's basketball. Football aside, men's basketball is the biggest revenue generator in college sports and it is not even close. In fact, outside of football and men's basketball, the other sports lose money at practically every university.

Kentucky is an original member of the Southern Conference which morphed into the SEC during the first expansion.

The SEC (while football is King) is dominant in nearly every sport…the SEC is an everything conference. Kentucky has carried the conference torch since the dawn of time in Basketball (the second largest collegiate sport). Kentucky I’d also a top 5 program in Volleyball, Track and field, and Cheer. All while the football team is finishing seasons top 5 in conference standings and in the final AP poll on a consistent basis recently.

The SEC wouldn’t even consider dropping Kentucky. Mizzou(bottom tier both sports and newest member w worst geographical connection), Vandy (self explanatory…should petition to join the Ivy League), South Carolina (bottom tier in both major sports and didn’t going the league until 1990) in that order are the 3 most at threat if it occurred and we needed ti

If basketball is is important at all why no mention of Duke,Kansas or Gonzaga never even a thought to bring them anywhere. Basketball is irrelevant in all this talk.Tells us all we need to know really. I think. Thats how it seams anyway.

Stoops would be last on that list of possibilites to leave. Just look at his comments about being so "connected" to the fanbase here on ESPN's lead up to the UF game. The man is content and comfortable here right now.
I agree stoops only leaves for Iowa, or a job like Alabama Ohio st, or Georgia

Your not the smartest person in the world are you. Like I said you know where I'm at. I'm a veteran., was 19 at the time the Twin towers went down. 72 hrs later I was there...... That was my job for a good while.. I can't wait to fulfill the exigent I get when shit hits the fan.... Hope I never have to but can't wait till I can. If you can understand that...Dunmbass..Trust me I'm better at it than you. So any time your ready..... I don't care if it's 10 years from now... I'm always looking and your not good enough.. Promise.
We’ll, why did you have to make me go and like you before I **** you up? Thank you for your service sir. What did you do exactly? If you don’t mind me asking? I got a daughter and the younger generation doesn’t understand that day. Surprising me, I understood the significance of Pearl Harborat a young a age and that was way before my time.

Not emotion, but forward thinking. Firing after Ireland would be emotional. Losing to Georgia Southern at home was the final proof.

But the worst thing that could happen is if he finished 5-4 in a weak Big 10 West. Right Now everyone is united in moving on. If hes kinda good, stillyou know he's not the coach, but might be harder for boosters to pony up. Could cause a riff in fans and team.

Best thing that happened was 97 cats didn't start playing until after Curry was fired.
Plus the Nebraska AD fired him before October when his buyout would have been half. That was a class move. He wanted to take care of Frost since he was the quarterback at Nebraska on a National Championship team and Frost is a Nebraska man thru and thru. Class act.

I did things I had to do to ensure safety and order in our country. That's all I'm going to get into. Not to be rude but it's a Personal question, and I'm not looking for any praise. I hope any one of us would do it to. Just try and respect people and not call them petty names because you need to feel better. You should now better. Do you teach your granddaughter to interact with people in that way? If so I take offense. Don't abuse the freedom that I provided you... Sir.

A lot to digest here. I’m 35. No grandchildren. I appreciate every man and woman that has served this country.

I’ll leave it at that. Thank you again and I’ll still **** you up. Lol

Wait, you just gave out your address but you gotta draw the line at a personal question?

If I’m looking for a hungry coach I’d hire D Sanders from Jackson St. He has put together a great program there and if you follow him, you will see that he does everything the right way. He’s teaching the game of football but also teaching them that there is a life after the game. A good dude.

He'll eventually get a P5 shot if he stays with it. Not sure the ultra-conservative Huskers will be the landing spot.

Dan Mullins would be someone I think Nebraska should take a long look at. Nebraska's big problem is a lack of recruiting base. Mullins did his best work at Mississippi St by pulling in Juco's and transfers. That might work well at Nebraska.

This is correct. Iowa State can't compete with SEC/B1G HC salaries, and certainly won't in the future. Campbell might be able to negotiate a 10-year deal with Nebraska for big $$$.

That said, don't be surprised if Coach Stoops (thru his Agent) gets a big Nebraska offer, and uses that to up his salary again in a "match it, or I'm out" move.

I don't know whi his agent is, but most likely Jimmy Sexton. He will absolutely work it to get CMS a nice raise, it's his job.

UofL will be all in on Deion if Brohm turns them down again after we spank the Cards AGAIN!
