Can one of you guys explain to me how this is simultaneously a plot by the government or elites or whoever to lead us into tyranny or kill us or whatever result you believe in but also the only guy who can stop it and is on "our" side is the guy already in charge who isn't stopping it?
Other questions:
-Is this a worldwide plot? Who came up with it?
-If it's about ruining Trump, why did it need to start on the other side of the world and make its way through thousands of people, giving us plenty of time to prepare (which we didn't)?
-Isn't it incredibly egocentric to think thousands needed to die in Italy so people would vote for Joe Biden? And if *whoever* had that kind of power, how on earth do you think Trump ever became president in the first place, or why do you think they couldn't remove him from office in a hundred easier ways that don't crush their economies?
-Why are the countries who followed the instructions early on back to living their lives, if it's meant to control us on some global scale?
-How can it be simultaneously about population control and also not a dangerous virus that we need to take precautions from? If you thought they were trying to kill us, wouldn't you take it very seriously?
It just feels like a hundred conflated, half-baked ideas jumbled together. This may not even be the place to ask, but so many of you seem thoroughly convinced of these ideas and I've never seen anyone actually unravel them in any coherent way or with any agreement on some really basic, fundamentally truthful foundations. Explain it to me in a way that I don't have to believe 8 unproven conspiracy theories at once, please.
Tyranny is about government overreach and control. Governments around the world have been locking down citizens, and turning off economies in the name of “safety” for most of the year now.
I don’t give Trump a pass. He is complicit, although I’m not sure his heart is in it at the same level as some others. I view him as more of a gangster than a controller.
As far as a plot, follow the money. Who benefits from shutting down the economy? Who benefits from increasing the power base of politicians at various levels of government?
I would simply encourage you to think about this. Are there people with power who might crave more power? People with money who might crave more money? People and governments with control who might desire more?
Global organizations who have spent billions of dollars to promote vaccine use might have an interest in foisting a vaccine on the majority of the world’s citizens and getting governments to pay the bill.
My county mayor may be happy with the $243 million check he received from the federal government and gets to divvy up as he sees fit.
Think big and think small.
There is a real virus. There always are. This one isn’t substantially more dangerous than many that have come before. It does appear to be more dangerous for certain segments of our society (elderly mostly). The best possible care was not taken early on with this group, but things have improved.
Even though there is a real virus, lies have been told to us from the beginning.
I would speculate that the origin narrative about the Wuhan meat market is a fabrication. I’m quite certain that asymptomatic spread is largely a myth. I’ve looked closely at the numbers. I’m also comfortable saying that mask mandates have had little to no health benefit to society. Again, I’ve looked closely at the numbers. I was looking at the numbers long before the mandates were put in place, and I’ve continued to research.
As far as countries being back to normal...I’d have to see the data. I would say that countries are going through different things at different times based on the ebbs and flows of the virus, seasonality, severity of lockdowns, rate of testing, honesty (to what degree can we trust what governments are telling us?).
Governments seeking greater control over their constituents can push just about any button they want. In my opinion, things could be somewhat normal here too. Things are pretty normal where I live, other than the goofy mask mandates. People are out and about, hospitals aren’t and never have been overrun.
I hope you appreciate this as a thoughtful, honest response. I know you’re a smart guy. I accept the fact that some people think the government response is A-OK. I would like to believe that people on that side of the conversation are still open to thoughts about how dangerous government overreach is and can be.
