NBA Finals Game 6

Yep. I'm a LeBron hater. Will gladly admit. He is the best player in the world right now. But the best player in the world doesn't have to say I'm the best player in the world. He lets others say it for him. LeBron lacks self awareness in that regard and comes off as a douche. Its that simple.
You would have really hated Ali.

Yeah, Jordan never tooted his own horn did he?
Jordan never said anything remotely close while playing. After his careet was over he ran his mouth. In the 90s if he spoke like that xaiver McDaniel or bill lambeer would have put him on his arse.

I think Mogo or whatever his name is... is enjoying the foul discrepancy so far lol

Cleveland plays a horrible half turning the ball over double digits and missing almost 10 free throws. golden State displays beautiful passing and assists on its first 10 baskets. WITH ALL OF THAT SAID.....Cleveland is down by 2.

Let's go Cavs.

The best players are the best because of their confidence. Curry has said he is the best shooter and Green has said he is the best defender. So it's ok for them to say they are the best but not for Lebron to say he is the best in the world. I will admit that Lebron isn't very likable but almost all professional athletes are not likable (with the exception of Kevin Durrant, one of the few that let's his play do most of his talking). Any team would trade any player on their roster for Lebron

Before this series started, I wanted Golden State to win. Watching 5.5 games, I've really started to dislike them. Green, Bogut, Iguodaula, Barbosa, and Livingston all really irk me. I'm definitely rooting for the Cavs now.

If you're going to hack & grab, don't cry every time you get hand-checked on the offensive end. The warriors seem to whine about every call.

Good Lord the Cavs suck outside of LeBron.
We all know this by now, but still, it's shocking how bad they are. Read this morning that the Cavs are scoring around 54 points per 100 possessions in these Finals when LJ is on the bench. For reference, the Sixers were a league worst 93 points per 100 possessions this year.

Charles Barkley said if you left Deandre Jordan alone in the gym all night and told him he couldn't dunk, he'd have 6 points in the morning. That's everyone on Cleveland except James. Horrible.

Agreed. That and kerr going to iguodala changed the series

What Kerr has done in his first season is impressive. He took a playoff team that had no shot of winning it and turned them into the best team and NBA champions. If anyone knew how good of a coach he was going to be, he would have had a job much quicker. And the best decision he made was before he was even a coach and he turned down Phil Jackson and the Knicks.

My goodness the rest of the Cavs look like a bunch of high schoolers. Is this really the best they could put together to help LeBron, Kyrie and Love?

It just amazes me at what seems to be a huge lack of basketball IQ by the Cavs. Thompson, JR Smith and Shumpert look like they are three of the dumbest basketball players alive and Dellavedova is the kid at the gym who shoots it 5 feet over the rim on a layup. This is pitiful how awful everyone except James looks.

Not easy to fill a roster after 3 all-star sized contracts. It's why putting together a big3 isn't always easy.

The Cavs are clearly a worn out basketball team. Let's remember, these are still the same players that went in to GS and won in game 2. This has been an extremely draining series. How many teams would have gone 6 games with 2 of their best 3 players sitting out injured. They are clearly a drained basketball team.

Meanwhile, the GSW have played every, or just about every series with an advantage of the starting PG being out for the team they are playing. Just a healthy Irving and this series is likely different.

This series could have been different just by JR Smith playing better and he's been a no-show. Bout time he did something

It's amazing how Golden State makes every open three, but the Cavs cannot buy a bucket.

Questions:

1) where is the hack a Iguodola?
2) Can Mike Miller really shoot worse?
3) Shaun Marion anyone?

David Blatt has not adjusted and has relied on LeBron single handily winning these games for the Cavs.

Not having Varejao, Love, or Irving for most or all of the playoffs kind of limits what he can do. Then you have JR Smith pulling a disappearing act for most of this series and what much is left for Blatt to do than ride the best player in the world.

What's left to do is actually coach. With those three in the game I say Cavs take the whole thing rather easily, but you have to show some strategy and Blatt has shown none this finals. He has done a good job overall though.

Cavs can't buy a basket.

congrats to golden state. curry blew up and they had what it took to get through the west. they didn't have to play san antonio or a complete team in the finals. but they are golden state and they actually did it. an amazing season.

You're just typing nonsense.

Love seeing Lebron lose. I cannot stand him. He's one play away from being 1-5 in the finals. Hope he loses another four finals.

Glad to see Curry win a title and a franchise who built their team in such an intelligent way.

The butthurt and hate for the GSW's on this board is really weird, and misplaced. The team plays less physical D than the Cavs. The Warriors have a bevy of talent, with possibly the purest shooter off the dribble in NBA history. They're an extremely entertaining team to watch. They just don't back people down, throw up crap, and hope for the offensive rebound, which is what the college game has basically devolved into. This squad is helping the game.

I loved watching them play this year. Everyone talks about Curry and Thompson, but they weren't even the top 2 candidates from their squad for finals MVP. Iguodala giving up his starting spot to come off the bench shows his quality as a teammate. Draymond Green does all the small things for that team. Whether it's keeping the ball alive, making an extra pass, or making a good play defensively that doesn't show up in the boxscore he does it. That speaks to his quality as a teammate. Their players know their roles and you'd be hard pressed to find more than a handful of moments in the game where they don't play team ball. 67-15 regular season and 16-5 in the playoffs. 83-20 combined. They won 80% of their games this year.

Lol the best shooter in NBA history, and top 3 talent (at least according to some on here) couldn't even grab the Finals MVP. I'm not even sure he was 2nd place in voting:

1. Iggy
2. Irvings Injury
3. Love's Injury
4. JR Smith.
5. Dehydration
6. Curry.
