National Semifinals Thread

I'm not watching the game, but Gonzaga matches up well with them. They can score and won't be hurt if the pace gets pushed and their big guys pass extremely well.

They have the firepower, BB IQ and size to beat them.

I agree. watching this tournament i believe even more, size matters.

Oregon keeps hanging around but keep giving up a big play on the other end to keep them from closing the gap

I was rooting for SC earlier but as I watched the game I realized that they would have had no chance of beating UNC.

Had the Gonzaga bigs not been in foul trouble that game would have been a comfortable win for the Bulldogs.

The problem with us coming short the last couple of times since 2012 is that some schools are creeping up on us in the title hunt. UNC wins this tournament and they'll have 6.

The funny thing about this game is that I'm not giving up on Oregon yet. But they are doing nothing on the other end to really give themselves a great chance.

This game is making me ill and making me angry. We would have bum-rushed this crap Oregon team if Higgins hadn't hamstrung us.

But mainly I am angry because UNC has managed to just deny, deny, deny and obfuscate themselves out of any serious repercussions for their fraud, and despite all of those who took solace in at least their recruiting going to crap because of the mere specter of sanctions, they've managed to slow-play 5 stars like Berry, Jackson, Meeks, and Hicks, etc into sticking around for 3-4 years, whereas our borderline 5-stars are toiling in the D-league or bailed on us after a year.

Then a crap former walk-on like Luke Maye, despite being savaged by Duke fans and held up as the poster child of how bad their recruiting had become, ends up out-playing Harry Giles and Marques Bolden this season, then shreds our hometown boy Willis in the Elite 8.

Gonzaga better come to play Monday night.
