My heart was pumping and I didn’t care who won. It was exciting as hell. The blood is flowing, I really wanted to watch more ball. Honestly one of the best games I’ve ever watched. Unbelievable.

That is disgusting. You don't realize what is happening with Gonzaga right now, do you?
It’s too late to wish it away, it’s already happened. They are on the verge of going undefeated...first team in 45 years. Have a lottery pick. Bringing in top guard in country. They are becoming the "IT" school. It is abhorrent to root for them right now.
They are the new Duke.
Least of my concern. I look through the windshield, not the rear view mirror.
A small school organically building a national title contender without the resources of the major programs?
They’re not Duke, UNC, Kansas, or Louisville. I don’t hate them. They’re fun to watch and I like their style. Worse coaches and teams have won a title.
So how many UCLA player put their names in the draft ?
Anyone is a threat in college ball especially a one and done tournament. We’ve lost to Auburn, K-State, Indiana, and WVU during Cal’s era. L’s can come from anyone. You are disconnected...no offense. They were cute 20 years ago, they are a major threat now.
they will always make room for it. whittenburg and charles are out lol.You would think it would have changed when Jenkins hit that shot against UNC, but nope.
I do both because something may come crashing in from behind.Least of my concern. I look through the windshield, not the rear view mirror.

We will never play them unless we get to a Final Four and I doubt recruiting is gonna be much of an effect with a school in the Pacific Northwest versus us.

I think they did in '96 but because NCAA doesn't re-seed, it was in Semis and not the Championship game. UK/UMass were best teams in my mind that year.Love that the two best teams will play for the championship. It rarely happens.
Off the top of my head
2005
2007?
1999
But like the OP said "Championship" not semis.I think they did in '96 but because NCAA doesn't re-seed, it was in Semis and not the Championship game. UK/UMass were best teams in my mind that year.
Ayayi played great from the tip as well.Look at how important it was for Timme to not foul out. Probably changes the length of the game and the outcome.
Ayayi played great from the tip as well.
At the start of the game, Ayayi was the O for the Zags.Ayayi played great from the tip as well.
They missed a lot of easy baskets in the first half then let Timme be the closer. If he gets off to a good start on Monday, Baylor could be in trouble.True. I was more focusing on their weak bench production. Without Timme I don't think they win. His passing ability is unreal and they rely on it quite a bit. Watson is nowhere near ready for that level of play.
They are just compensating for Cal and his stall ball leading to the loss in 2015.I don't get all the negativity for Gonzaga. The play the game like it's supposed to be played. They played a killer OOC schedule, as they do every year. There are some good teams, not great, in their conference. Suggs is the first 5* recruit in Gonzaga history. Most of you haters would figuratively give your left nut for Kispert, Timme, Nembhart, or Suggs and they would be favorites.
I would give my left nut for their Coach, a Coach that appears to care for CBB and the school he works for, not the snake oil salesman we have.I don't get all the negativity for Gonzaga. This got me to thinking when was the last back-to-back-to-back first-time champions. That would be 1989 Michigan, 1990 UNLV and 1991 Duke. That only happened one other time 1959 California, 1960 Ohio State and 1961 Cincinnati. The first 7 years each year had a new champion but after that only two groups of three and seven times a group of two of back-to-back new champions.First back-to-back first time champions since 2002-2003 (Maryland and Syracuse).
What ever it is, I like it. I like movement in an offense and plenty of passing. Dribbling around the perimeter is horrible basketball. I hope Calipari is taking notes.Just my imagination or does the Zags offense set. about 154 illegal moving. screens a game ? Its like a rub play in. NFL football, you dont really set a screen or get called for a pick but you intentionally run your man into another player ? I guess its all good if they are not going to call it , but the Zags run two players REAL close together without stopping ... seems like it causes a switch but its not really a screen ?
