I finished fourth in my league. Thanks to Jalen hurts for not wanting to play with a concussion because that screwed me. Also the snow just won't stop.
Blue Bell is too expensive. Give me a Kroger frozen dairy treat any day.
Not very optimistic about our chances @ UT tonight. Slightly more optimistic about our chances against Arkansas at Rupp on Saturday. Really need a healthy Carr & Butler combo on the court for this team to be effective. Hopefully that healthiness manifests itself sooner rather than later.
One thing is absolutely, positively 100% for sure though…Wagner missed 4,324 layups last season while wearing the UK uniform. In the bits & pieces of 3 games that I’ve seen him play wearing an Arkansas uniform he has missed at least a half a dozen more layups. I have one beef with Mark Pope. He has a perfectly good hairline and chooses to shave his head.
I really like this team. What a win, down essentially 3 players. Pope always seems so poised and his ability to coach and communicate with his players without the hysterics is great to watch.
Kind of ironic that a dude as huge as Pope doesn't use his height as intimidation. Could you imagine 6'10" Dan Hurley or Bruce Pearl?
Fantastic win. Had the Volunteers shook. Time to lay it on the Razorbacks. Would love to see Perry, Noah, Chandler, Garrison and a walk-in the game for the last five minutes or so while the bench loses its mind after every play.
Speaking of which, I can't imagine that there was ANY chance that Perry/Noah dreamed they would be playing significant minutes in the toughest conference in SEC history. Livin' the dream.

Yep. Huge win last night especially given the circumstances. The silver lining with injuries is that others get the chance to step up & that experience can pay off down the stretch & even into next season. Almanor has been a pleasant surprise. Didn’t realize he could shoot the 3 that well. Last two games he has been on fire.
If this team ever gets completely healthy it could do some damage in March…if they learn how to rebound that is. Gave up 18 offensive boards last night. EIGHTEEN!!! I give zero effs who we have on the court…that’s unacceptable. Rebounding is going to be the death of this team in the tournament if they don’t fix it. Unfortunately (Fortunately) I wasn't able to watch last nights game. Don't know what happened but I did not expect Calipari to come into Rupp with his current record and lay it on the Cats. Still like this team though.
Hanging onto a faint glimmer of hope that getting Carr & Butler back healthy & in game shape will allow for a decent March run.

Need to look into the possibility of getting more games on our schedule against USCjr & the Vols.

Not sure. I do know that we absolutely need him for our run in March if we want to get out of 1st gear in the dance. Only guy we have on the roster that is consistently effective at on-the-ball defense.
So my preference is that he sits this weekend and maybe all next week as well to get healthy. I think we can beat both Texas & Vandy without him. Bama is going to run over us no matter who we wheel out on the court.
Conclusion: give Butler a week to heal.

NTI is a very good concept. NTI is also subject to very bad execution. Your mileage may vary.
NTI as a stop gap/fill-in for a day or two here or there is great. NTI for extended periods of time are a complete & total disaster.

Ready for spring to hit. After a couple of surgeries last year I wasn't able to finish my garage. Ceiling is in and the last of the wood siding is going up over the next few weeks.
Redid the yard late last year. Last warm weekend we had to do it and the wind picked up like a son of a gun. Had a hard time keeping straw and seed in place. Have some bare spots showing but we will be overseeding soon. Not real happy with one low spot remaining. Still holding some water in the very back. Looks like one more load of dirt might fix it. We will see even though it is already 100% better than it used to be. Held so much water back there. It was ridiculous. Got it draining with the natural contour of the land now.
Cats will have a tough one today. Just hope they can keep it respectable. If we get healthy we are going to be a force. Still love this team and coach. Go CATS!

Ugh. That's the one down fall to spring is you have to start mowing the yard. Other than that I'm good with it
I just don't think we have enough to beat Auburn without Jax UNLESS Brea has a monster game. We have to get a few stops. Butler being back helps.
