Sry if this a little long

So My wife has worked for this small business now for over 8 yrs. Company first started by one guy. When she started his only employees was his mom and my wife in an office he had in his basement. Lol. Save the references.

In the beginning he wanted to create a culture. That first yr he had a christmas party for us and gave christmas bonuses. Even if it was just a 100 dollar gift card. It was him and his wife his parents and my wife and I. Went out to eat and went to the comedy club. He rented a limo. Know he paid out the ass for what he had.

Fast forward almost 9 yrs. They survived covid. Which is astonishing considering they are tied to the entertainment industry. We just had our annual Christmas party last night. This one had 27 ppl. 2 companies he is a partner of now. We had ppl from Florida north carolina Ohio and ky there as employees who came to be a part of this party. Showed just how much they have grown this small business and still continue the culture of giving back to the employees that have been a part of this.

Seems like no one does this anymore. I dunno. But it was fun as hell. They rented hotel rooms for everyone paid for the party bus for our transportation. Rented the party room at jeff ruby's. For dinner. And rented the top balcony at a bar/club in lex just for us to have our own bar and private access to. Cost a fortune.

If any of you have ever seen the movie office christmas party. Well it was that lol. At the club it required a 3000 dollar drink minimum expense to reserve it. For 27 ppl. No high end 500 dollar bottles of whatever. Just your normal drinks. And they tried like hell to eclipse that amount of drinking. It was wild! Im talking 20 30 40 50 and 60 yr olds all dancing and drinking more that i can explain. Other substances were being consumed so i hear.

Just saying. It was wild and amazing to see how this small business has grown and continues to grow. And the boss has continued to give back and show his appreciation for his employees. This doesnt seem to exists anymore. But it did for us. I survived. It was wild lol.

And **** the covid shit. We congregated from 4 states and held nothing back. That is America bitches. The alcohol killed everything.

Carry on.

I’m betting her boss ponied up for Chick-Fil-A, amirite?

Unless my 4 remaining players all set season records, it looks like a Miracle On Grass/Turf ain't happening this year. You really don't have much of a chance when your starting backfield combines for 9 f#cking points. It's been a good run though, at times even...dare I say...magical. Whudda thunk the lowly Ulcers -- perennial FFL doormat -- would make the playoffs?

Suck it, haters.

You will get a ton of points from the Cousins/Jefferson combo tonight. The entire Bears starting secondary is out with Covid.

I gained some good pounds yesterday. I pretty much ate for 9 straight hours. I’m not saying this for no kooky chef Ramsey appreciation bs, I’m saying it for quantity reasons and weight gaining…

my day went like this:

12pm - prime rib, macaroni, taters, green beans, casserole thing. HUGE PORTIONS. REPEAT.
1pm - coconut cake, fudge, cookies
2pm - caramel corn, cheddar corn…cookies
3pm - caramel corn, cheddar corn…cookies
4pm - REPEAT
5pm - REPEAT
6pm - REPEAT + coconut cake
7pm - Sausage balls, cheese balls
8pm - sausage balls, cheese balls
9pm - cookies

Like lil Jesus intended. Go Cats. Go Bengals.
