N.O.B.

Just got in and catching the last part of this game and a few things immediately come to mind:

  1. I think it's funny that we keep playing a team every year with "Indiana" in the name but not actually playing IU.
  2. I also think it's sad that we don't play IU any more. That used to be a great rivalry. I used to go to that game every year and the atmosphere was awesome. But then again that's back when IU had decent squads.
  3. I am surprised that we struggled to put this rag tag bunch away early. I missed most of the game so what gives?
  4. Cal is about 3 or 4 donuts away from going full Huggy Bear and saying eff it by wearing a sweater/sweatshirt during games.

I want the Cats to defy the odds/all sensible logic and pull off the upset today. But even if they don't...the fact that this late in the season we are playing in a one-off, winner-take-all game with the right to go to the SEC Championship game on the line...in effing FOOTBALL...in the freaking SEC...is beyond anything I ever thought possible as a lifelong 40+ year U.K. Football fan.

Pure. Unadulterated. Awesomeness.

Kudos to Stoops.

(And I have been on the "faaar Stoops" side of things more than once over his tenure in Lextown. Glad they didn't fire him...for now anyway[winking])

And kudos to...(gulp) can't believe I am typing this publicly...kudos to Mitchy for supporting Stoops and sticking with him.

Far Mitch n them boys.

But really...we didn’t play “bad”, imo.

I think Georgia is another class of athlete we haven’t seen. We had a lot of those runs “covered”, but those SOBs were fast as heck.

We also made a lot of boneheaded plays.

Business as usual next week.

***i would still like to see more AJ Rose. Our running game has been declining for a long time now, and Benny has been banged up like any SEC rb would be. AJ is electric, and can obviously catch passes...something Benny doesn’t do.

Team Funkycat is the PED using cleanup hitter of the Fantastical Foosball league. You know...the guy who has been in the 2 slot with a decent OBP and hits an average of 12-15 homers per year for a 10 year career and then all of a sudden he hits 48 homers in year 11 and wins the ghey azz home run derby at the MLB All-Star Circus & Extravaganza.

All of his remaining foosball games should be under protest. Furthermore, I hereby officially decree a boycott of all things funkycat related...except for the photoshops of course...the photoshops obviously get a lifetime pass. But everything else is hereby officially boycotted though. Believe that!

If one were to do a thanksgiving poll, should one make different quadrants, id est, desserts, meats, sides, et cetera? One does not want to look like a fool, per se.
