I took a half days vacation today. Went home to the wife and kids. Kids had an art class. Wife and I got the house to ourselves. I got to knock one out in the middle of the afternoon. It was awesome.

In any case, we hosted a celebration family luncheon at the ‘76 House up the street in Tappan, NY. It’s the longest operating travern in the US. Haunted. Major André was convicted as a spy with aiding Benedict Arnold, enprisoned here prior to his hanging during the Revolutionary War...choices of Chateaubriand, Risotto, Penne, Amish Chicken... cake/coffee. Pretty good. I had a couple Chimay Blue brewskis.

Missed little one’s T ball game. I hope his swing stays pure.

We went to nursery this morn and reviewed landscapers plan for redoing our front yard. Plants are freakin expensive. I cheaped out on some things. Tomorrow we’re pulling the trigger. Chopping down 50’ Blue spruce in front yard.

Perfect day. I hate working. I love spending money.

Got a favor to ask of you NOB brethren. I have a neighbor and she is the sweetest old lady you'd ever meet. Actually I have known her all my life. The biggest wildcat fan there is. Goes to all the home games actually. While back she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. They removed the tumor and now she has to endure many weeks of chemo and radiation. She broke down crying today when my wife and I saw her when working in the yard today when she told us. If you guys don't mind throw up a prayer for her. Thanks guys!

Yesterday was a good day. For the most part, my work is just work. Daily grind and what not.

Anyways, about a month ago I was asked for some info on what we do for a certain therapy. Sent the info, & got asked to present it at a professional meeting. So yesterday I presented a talk about Lu-177 Lutathera. Had some people in the audience that were really glad to hear about it because their medical centers are gonna start doing it.

We did it as research a few years back. First patient was a neighbor. Turns out that he and his wife are from KY (small world sometimes).

I think I mentioned earlier this month that my boss (manager) retired. The assistant manager took over, but has decided he doesn’t want the job. I’m applying for it. Big move if it happens. I have recommendations from asst mgr, director, and now the head radiation regulatory person in the state.

Otherwise, today was city cleanup day. I loaded a bunch of junk in my pickup and dumped it. I have a new couch on order and need to get new patio furniture.

Sending the kid down the street for a sleepover tonight. Maybe watch porn on the big screen.
