Music to my.. eyes.

Agree.

I think speed is most important on KOs and Quickness more important on punts-----which also requires nerves of steel, ability to catch, and good judgement. I think Timmons has both the speed and quickness to excel at both, but see him more likely as a KO returner.

now that ryan isn't absolutely critical in the passing game we can use him in the return game more. we only had 4 wr's with experience last year so we needed to protect him to a certain extent for him to play wr. now that we have 8 guys who can play that spot effectively you can afford to move him around and not count on him as an every down guy at wr.

Or if UK had a better defense they could have won those games too. It's not all on Towles folks.

True, our defense was destroyed last half of the season because of lack of depth/fatigue. Saying that, we have more skill on offense than we do on defense at this point. Therefore, Towles has got to put the ball in our playmakers' hands with accurate short passes.

But I think he could be almost Randall Cobb-ish if he can handle all the other things needed in returning punts. I think Little fielded about as many risky punts as anyone and got away with most of them.
