I would imagine we’re paying him more and he’ll get more playing time. It’s not complicated. Why isn’t he returning to Bama?

Uk fans have gotten soft. Whether it’s the Father Mitch AD or just the Cal decline, Cats fans have settled. Gotta play hard ball and get the best. Cats need to be the program where 2nd tier guys are leaving because better players are replacing them. Now more than ever college bball is a game for sharks.
Brea and Robinson were both 6th men (non starters) before coming to UK. Both players ended up being huge part of our offense.I don’t disagree I’m just looking at the roster seems we have more role players from other teams to add to role players we already have.
Bama isn’t willing to pay. He’s dispensable.I would imagine we’re paying him more and he’ll get more playing time. It’s not complicated.
Guys plural? Tulane, Bama, and Pitt?Bama isn’t willing to pay. He’s dispensable.
Red flags when UK is tajijgb2nd level guys from programs they are trying to reach.
That turd is the worstDoes that mean you will be a miserable twat until we get to a Final Four? If that’s the case, you’re nothing more than someone who clogs threads up on here.
If UK had 3-4 real dudes, real difference makers, then a guy like this might make sense. But right now UK doesn’t have those guys.Guys plural? Tulane, Bama, and Pitt?
If you keep posting the same thing over and over you may get some UK fans to argue with you ;- )Bama isn’t willing to pay. He’s dispensable.

All cause I bring up valid comments. I'm a flushed turd. That turd is the worst
Bama was one of the deepest teams so some Second level guys are pretty damn good, you're theory kinda dumbBama isn’t willing to pay. He’s dispensable.

Valid? You are the only one that thinks it's validAll cause I bring up valid comments. I'm a flushed turd.
The SEC SOUTHPAWS!We are now the Lexington Lefties
Speak for yourself, then. What exactly is not valid? I'm little lost in your reference. Please enlighten, so we can work this out.Valid? You are the only one that thinks it's valid
I trust him and the other coaches just making an assumptionBrea and Robinson were both 6th men (non starters) before coming to UK. Both players ended up being huge part of our offense.
I’m quickly learning to trust Pope regardless of a player did the previous year.
I know he’s not really a shooter, I just want him to be a poor man’s MKG! A guy that brings physicality, rebounding, dunking on peoples heads! We need toughness!I like it. Big physical forward with tons of SEC experience. Excellent move.
It is NOT about you.I hope this isn't about me, but if it is, I'm flattered. I already commented by opinion on this thread, so you'll need to search the pages for it. I'll give you a quick summary though since you are a fan. I stated that I thought he was a great depth piece, which seems to me that Pope will play him at the 4 quite a bit. I also noted that we shouldn't sell ourselves short now, and we need to now get Pierre and Alvaro to finish the roster. This would catapult us from being good, to GREAT, and give us a real shot at a championship.
I apologize if it wasn't, the name was just eerily similar lolIt is NOT about you.
No worriesI apologize if it wasn't, the name was just eerily similar lol
I didn't expect us to get their tonight but if our team had stayed healthy all season I think it would have been possible.I want another title as much as anyone. But to expect us to be playing for the natty tonight was far-fetched, at best. We have a new coach who had to to recruit an entire team out of a picked over transfer portal. We over-achieved far more than we under-achieved. In a few years I hope we are in the title game, but at the end of the day we have only won eight national titles in however many decades the NCAA tourney has been played, so it’s not like winning one, or even getting to a final four, is a common thing for anyone.
I see him more as a muffin player myself, maybe a hard biscuit. Roll player should deserve consideration in place with fast paste and preMadonna.I still think he’s a roll player I have criticized because he’s a tweener on his size of SF/PF. If I’m wrong I will gladly eat crow
And Dioubate has a 7’3” wingspanAll of Houston's bigs have 7'4 wing spans.
That explains why he plays so much taller than 6'7". The advantage of height is the vertical reach, not how high the top of your head is...And Dioubate has a 7’3” wingspan
Combine him with JQ 7'5" wingspan and around the rim will be violent. And Dioubate has a 7’3” wingspan
Why the snark? He asked a good question, one that's worth discussing.I would imagine we’re paying him more and he’ll get more playing time. It’s not complicated.
On3 ranks Dioubate as the 37th-best prospect (and 5th-best small forward) to enter his name into the portal so far this offseason. In 16 minutes per game as a sophomore this past season, the New York native averaged 7.2 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 61.7 percent from the field, 46.2 percent from three (12-26 overall), and 60.9 percent from the free throw line.Curious, anyone know where they ranked him in the portal? I checked 247 and another site and he's nowhere to be found. I stopped looking good after 100 figuring he's way up there, at least 30s. All are other guys are ranked, but it's like they left him off???
