Me n dad followed the 84 team, saw almost all the games that season. Road games too. Gut punched when they went cold in the final four game. Loved that entire year. One of my best!

Second tier - 1966, 1997, 2010, 2015,

Not sure after that. I loved most every team from 1990-2005 or so.

They're the most likable Cal team from my perspective. They are more happy about winning than the coach staff is. My most likable teams were the 1965-66, 1968-69, 1969-70, 1974-75, 1977-78, 1995-1996, and this one.

- Loved the 78 team - Goose James Lee, Rick Robey, Mike Phillips
- 90 team - Pitino 1st year. - Woods, Pelphrey. Feldhaus, Farmer, Hanson. - 14 wins 14 losses, played harder than any team I have ever seen and bombed the 3’s
- 70 team led by Issel and Pratt, I was 11 watching the Jacksonville game and Dan fouled out and we lost. Cried most of the afternoon

More likeable than the 38 win 2012 team or 38 won 2015 team? Fascinating as they don't really win a lot and heading towards a 10 plus loss season most likely.

Good call. I loved that team. Even after the injury, they still almost won it all and they left everything on the court.

1998 as well. Lots of guys to get behind on that team, especially after Allen Edwards' mom passed away.
