Good grief. Dave Baker is terrible.....should really make us appreciate the great Tom Leach....
Only having the radio broadcast to follow the game is tough to do for a UK basketball game (of course having Baker over Leach isn't helping). Respect to the old timers where this was the only way to follow the games.
I found it on the radio but I can’t see ‘em at all. There’s 2 guys talking about what’s happening and one of ‘em sounds like his ears are like huge. Knox has seven points.
Props to Baker for doing what he can. No doubt the guys a huge UK fan, but this is NOT how is was for us “old timers”.
Of course, we’re spoiled now with every game and hd tv but man oh man Cawood and Ralph Hacker could literally call a game so vivid you could “see” the action!
Play by play is obviously an art....keeping up with the speed of the game (which Baker is struggling with mightily) and saying “enough” without saying too much......Cawood was the KING!!!
Turnovers keeping this game close. Hopefully we can get that out of our system in the next few weeks.
We had one turnover to their seven at one point if I ain’t mistaken. Knox and Diallo everywhere.
