This crap has really got to stop. SEC needs to start slapping big fines for this. That's the only way it's going to end. This is NEVER acceptable.

Not defending this stuff, but I believe that gesture is referring to ice water in their vein(s).The players going to the edge of the court to talk smack and wave is just as lame as them acting like they're shooting up heroin after making a three.
This current generation is probably the lamest, self-promoting generation of men in human record.
People need to chill the hell out. There’s passion and there’s being a stupid asshole and way too many people are willing to justify being a stupid asshole.
You're right, but it gives the same impression of over-the-top lameness. Not defending this stuff, but I believe that gesture is referring to ice water in their vein(s).
Yeah, gestures evolve. That's always going to be the thing. Not defending this stuff, but I believe that gesture is referring to ice water in their vein(s).
In typical punk new money fashion, and AU fan bit my head off for saying that's lame and he was like "They're just TOWELS". Yeah, ok. And it's still low class behavior.People need to chill the hell out. There’s passion and there’s being a stupid asshole and way too many people are willing to justify being a stupid asshole.
Before or after death?I may put that on my headstone
Rivalry game. A little taunting is gonna happen. No justification for fan reaction like this but also no justification for BAMA players to taunt the fans which is what it appeared they were doing.
It seems like fans have become far more tribal over the last 10 years or so. I don't remember opposing fans throwing water bottles at Kentucky players back in the 90s.
I don't remember players running up to the edge of the court and talking trash to opposing fans after a big victory on the road.
It seems like lamely mocking opposing fans by waving at them has become par for the course for this current generation of skinny-jean wearing, effeminate floppy dreads haircuts, and NBA Youngboy fans.
That’s so low class. Act like you have some sense. They need to identify as many people as they can and make them pay for it. Fans don’t care how many fines a school pays for their behavior.

That’s because society as a whole had way better morals and knew how to act in public. I remember when parents would take rowdy kids out of stores and whip them into shape in the parking lot. Now you would be arrested for raising your voice to them. No accountability anymore. It seems like fans have become far more tribal over the last 10 years or so. Dunno I remember Matt Walsh and Marshall Henderson doing the same or worse.
I don’t mind the air guns really. Means nothing really just a gesture. The 3 goggles is where it’s at.Yeah, gestures evolve. That's always going to be the thing.
There was the "three" monocle for awhile.
Then the arrow shot.
Now there's the ice water thing.
I'm fine with gestures as long as they aren't overly offensive and/or promoting violence (the gun thing has to stop tbh. Breeds thug/gang culture).
I'm ok with a little trash talking to fans. For goodness sake's Marshall Henderson was king of that and it brought some spice to the sport. The ssh gesture is always an infuriating one especially if you shut up a home crowd on the road. I don't want to take all of that away. It's what makes sports fun. We humans have to have a way to be a bit primal and tribal at times (but in a safe controlled away) and sports allows a bit of that.

We have a people problem not a gun problem. No gun has ever caused an issue without a knuckle head behind the trigger.I'm kinda split on it. If the air guns aren't pointed at anyone in particular, I'm ok with it. Problem is players like to do it toward specific people and yeah, that's not cool. Like if it's at the ground or towards the air, cool. But we've got a gun violence problem in this country and that's a whole different can of worms. But the issue is kids see that and start doing it towards other kids in schools and other venues, and that's just going to cause problems.
I don't disagree. We have a culture problem that gets exacerbated by people using guns to solve problems that don't need to be solved by guns.We have a people problem not a gun problem. No gun has ever caused an issue without a knuckle head behind the trigger.
Exactly.I don't disagree. We have a culture problem that gets exacerbated by people using guns to solve problems that don't need to be solved by guns.
Fining the school gives them the incentive to identify the people responsible and ban them. That's the only way anything will happen anyway. That’s so low class. Act like you have some sense. They need to identify as many people as they can and make them pay for it. Fans don’t care how many fines a school pays for their behavior.
Finger guns being equated to gun violence is just wowI'm kinda split on it. If the air guns aren't pointed at anyone in particular, I'm ok with it. Exactly. Tier it just like the court storming thing.Fining the school gives them the incentive to identify the people responsible and ban them. That's the only way anything will happen anyway.
You know that's a technical right? I'm not having a political debate in this thread either so, don't start.Finger guns being equated to gun violence is just wow
I didn’t start anything bud. Remember when I said this “But we've got a gun violence problem in this country and that's a whole different can of worms. Nope. Get lost. Not doing this.I didn’t start anything bud. Remember when I said this “But we've got a gun violence problem in this country and that's a whole different can of worms. Have the night you deserve. You are a supreme shit stirrer dude.
Was that the same society that had separate bathrooms and drinking fountains? People have never had morals. That’s because society as a whole had way better morals and knew how to act in public.
