I still think a S16 is more than realistic. IDK, maybe I'm crazy *shrugs*

Yes they do. He’s got a torn labrum, right? I don’t feel like I’m making this up. I swear I’ve seen this and heard other discuss it. Those don’t heal on their own.

I mean we didn't drop seeding when Kellen Grady and Ty were very banged up. Not that this statement proves it can't happen. I get that.

But like, the SC already has their work cut out for them in just a half week of time. I just can't see them sitting at the table and diving into nagging injuries and trying to assess if a guy like Butler will or won't be a factor in the coming weeks. I think aside from big injuries of guys they know will be out, they're just gonna go with the metrics and seed the team based on that.

I think as long as Butler is available, we will be judged on performance. They will consider how we look with and without JR. They won’t try to diagnose the health of each player.

Now if we play like garbage down the stretch, they could lump all of that in as “missing JR impacts,” even if part of it were caused by Butler being banged up.

Bottom line: need more wins, imo. Can’t afford to rest on our laurels, because the scrutiny will be a little more intense with JR on the shelf.

3 seed is probably off the table now because of Robinson's injury. We would need a 5/12 upset to get to the s16 imo at this point. We just can't take care of the ball or make a layup.

I agree with this. If we are a 4 hope the 12 upsets the 5 so we get two lower level conference teams. I mean I guess a major conference team could be a 12 though but idk. Doesn't seem likely.

I know I've said this already, but I really would love to see this team play a mid-major or a middling P5 team. I don't think we're getting a fair assessment of this injury-riddled team try and keep pace with a lot of the SEC. I think we could thump a 12-seed in a somewhat surprising performance. And I think we can beat a lot of the Marquette/Maryland/Oregon type teams. I believe things would be much easier for this team when the talent and athleticism falls off, playing non-SEC teams.
