After weeks of twists and turns, it appears there might final resolution regarding Mike Locksley. The short version: he appears to be gone.
New offensive coordinator Walt Bell will also assume the quarterbacks coach position, meaning Locksley would have to take a job as running backs coach or another secondary title to remain on board. Even last week as we were hearing D.J. Durkin had officially him a spot, those close to Locksley were saying he didn't seem likely to return.
Now, while there's no official word that he's leaving, there's also no signs of a return; he's removed any sign of Maryland from his Twitter profile and per a source, he's in talks with Pittsburgh and Kentucky about unspecific positions.
