I spoke with Mike Farrell, Rivals.com's National Director of Recruiting, and he shared some of his thoughts on what he saw from Kentucky offensive tackle commitment Landon Young recently at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The next and last round of Rivals.com's ranking revisions will start coming out on Monday. That's when the final list of five-star players from the Class of 2016 comes out. Folks have been asking about the odds that Young earns a fifth star. Regardless of where he falls in the rankings you'll know either Monday or Tuesday.

"Landon Young was clearly the best offensive lineman on the West team," Farrell told me. "That's not even close. If you look at the East team it's a little tougher because they had some really good looking guys and some really big guys like Ben Cleveland. Young wasn't as big as some of the guys on the East team but he was the West's best lineman. As far as the best tackles in the game I think you look at Young and then somebody like Tommy Kraemer.

"One of the great things about him is his frame and how he'll be able to get a lot bigger. He'll be able to easily add 30 pounds."

On the flip side he said Young, though the West's best lineman, does have room for improvement.

"He showed he can move his feet but he needs to do that more consistently. Sometimes he was caught a little flat-footed and he can improve that. He can also improve his strength. But he does extend his arms well and he's got great potential."
