He said it again recently when the ulismyman clip got posted.
I didn't see that. Wish I would've though. Anything with UMM has got to be entertaining.
So the board he started on, that they get a good 50% of their info for the site and at least 80% of the UK related talk for his show is full of idiots?

The anti-Matt Jones crowd on here are going to bend and twist everything he says to fit your agenda. No, I don't agree with everything he says but people need to stop being so thin skinned.
I think many of his haters are jealous of his success and access.
Agree totally. This board is hardly out of date if we keep getting mentioned. And it's funny how we are all old and yet I'd bet most of this board is younger than Matt. I'm older but only barely. And if we are so angry why is it Matt is the only taking all the cheap shots.
I think Matt just prefers the Twitter crowd because it's easier for him to control the dialogue.
I love Matt's show, I appreciate him standing up for Kentucky and especially Eastern KY, I LOVE his constant UofL bashing and calling out their administration and media, but he is one of the most "thin skinned" people in the media.
His desire to put our forum down or in it's place, is laughable. His show is actually an extension of this board. UK everything discussed with a little Paddock thrown in. He will NEVER admit this, but deep down he knows it.
Our boards are the only places he doesn't control the conversation. We are also his only true competition for viewpoints.

I watched his show for the first time yesterday. I probably shouldn't have. He keeps trying to make everyone think he's right and everyone else is wrong.

Can't say that I hate him, I just don't like him, I'll listen when big news is going on about UK or Louisville...I can't say I care about hearing a long, eventful odyssey he had to the local supermarket. Nor his 'yes man' sidekicks.

if Matt did truly call the posters on this board a bunch of old idiots, well, I'm disappointed he'd go that route, but honestly not upset.
As with any business - you keep the customers happy, or they don't come back. IF he pisses you off, just don't listen to his show.
I don't hate Matt - used to get in on the live chats during games when they had those and they were all pretty cool and I enjoyed them. Had a few exchanges with Matt and he was nice enough.

To be fair there are a lot of old and angry people on here, not most during the off season but most would fit for during a game that isn't going as well as they want or after a loss
If you don't agree, go to old threads when the team isn't playing well or after a loss and see if 51% or more of the posters are old and angry. I already did and it's around 80% which qualifies as most

It is the same misconception that just because someone has tickets, in the lower level of Rupp Arena, they must be a "Blue Hair." Some just pigeon hole people into age groups, just because of an outdated belief. You would think that someone who was trained as an attorney, would be more apt to use facts. Now that he is into the media, maybe not.
You took the time to re-listen to the show just to make sure he said what you thought he said? Man, I hope I've got better things to do with my time when I'm 67 years old and retired.
Pretty funny. He's on the radio talking about irrelevant mediums. Matt sounding exactly like a young Alex Jones throwing out a conspiracy theory about Duke and then you have the white man version of Robin Quivers that agrees with anything he says. BBN deserves better! We must demand it!
