Stoops has had too much support in Lexington for the results to be that bad at home.
He's also 2-7 in the SEC since his "pony up" comment.

Record of 11-12 since his contract extension. 1-4 against Vandy and USC the last 3 years, and Stoops makes more than their two coaches combined.
If you change the coaches you'd either be 1 and 11, 2 and 10 as Stoops, or three and nine. That's about it

Let’s not forget him complaining about how hard his job is and he gets no help with NIL. His record tells me he isn’t working hard enough, considering his salary.
Yea, that's just not sustainable. I've been a big stoops guy, but you can't keep losing home games to lower tier SEC programs (unless you're countering those losses with huge wins over brand teams, and that doesn't happen often enough either).
