So wonder why he didn't do the tv thing? He just kinda didn't all quietly and stuff.
So is this true? And whats up with him wanting to sign with Arkansas? That bothers me a little.
Holy bleeping bleep. You talk about a good couple of days for UK.
Next year's roster is totally absurd. I think Monk closes it for 15-16, unless something unexpected happens, but the way I see it:
Skal, Poy, and Murray are definitely gone.
Ulis is 95% gone, Briscoe probably about 90. Lee, I honestly don't know, but Cal is clearly recruiting like he thinks he'll be gone, so I assume he will be. Regardless, Cal has to leave a couple of scholarships open for them, just in case.
That leaves, tall to small (and I know most people can figure this out for themselves, but I like looking at it)
Humphries
SKJ
Wynyard
Adebayo
Gabriel
Willis
Matthews
Mulder
Monk
Fox
Hawkins.
With a likely lineup of Fox, Monk, Gabriel, Bam, and TBA, because Cal could go a whole bunch of different directions with a 5th guy. Regardless, the TBA will be someone like SKJ, Humphries, Matthews, or even a senior Willis if he makes huge strides this year.
Warning, though. As physically awesome as that team is on paper, it's also likely to be less polished than what UK's had the last 2 years. But daaaamn, the potential is so far off the charts that you need a telescope to see it.
I just don't see Ulis leaving this year. Maybe I just don't want to see it.
Exactly. He's always been adamant that he wants to play pro ball, and Cal has always been adamant that fans shouldn't think of him as a 4 year guy. I actually think Briscoe is more likely to stay than Ulis, because staying for him could be the difference between a guaranteed contract and a non-guaranteed. Tyler is just never likely to go in the 1st round, or if someone has the guts to take him there, no more likely to have that happen at a later date.I don't want to see it, but I'm trying to accept it. Playing here longer won't make him any taller. If he wants a shot at the league, he can have a hell of a year this season and give it a go.
Wow! So, it's official. This is unbelievable!Evan Daniels @EvanDaniels 41s41 seconds ago
Kentucky now moves to No. 1 in the 2016 class rankings with Malik Monk, De'Aaron Fox, Wenyen Gabriel, Bam Adebayo & Sacha Killeya-Jones.
