Malik Monk will visit Arkansas for Halloween, not this weekend like originally planned, per @_Nick5000.
Good or bad for UK or neither?
Probably neither. I don't believe visits sway recruits one way or another really. At the end of the day it will come down to does Malik want to compete for a title and maximum exposure next year. If so, the choice is clear.T.J. Walker @TWalkerRivals 3h3 hours ago

Of course, visits sway recruits. If they didn't why would athletic departments spend millions of dollars to keep their facilities up to par with everyone else. And why would coaches go out of their way to impress them while they're on campus. Hell, for that matter, why would you even ask a recruit to visit...if that visit isn't going to sway them one way or the other?
And why would UL hire hooke... Strippers?

Nope. It's basically UK.So what you're saying is that this is a KU/UK race?
What about Kyle Wiltjer who committed after zero visits? Point is, it's easy to pick one example. In general, I don't think visits make that big of a difference. UK just put on a huge spectacle at Big Blue Madness and nobody expects Giles or any of the others who attended to be swayed much as a result.Ask Miles Bridges about the effect of visits. They can and do sway recruitments. It's important to get that visit. How many recruits to you know commit without visiting a school? Not many.
Julius Randle said he knew he wanted to come to UK since his visit. It can be a major advantage for recruits to see what you have to offer and it moat definitely can sway a recruit.
I think visits are more important for players ranked below Top 15. They get to see the facilities and meet the players. As to the top 15 players, they are looking at "where do they need me the most?". and "who am I going to play with?". These players know that they have good chance, if now sure chance, to make NBAProbably neither. I don't believe visits sway recruits one way or another really. So you're saying there's a chance!
He didn't say an early exit to a double-digit seed in the NCAA. So we can assume he didn't mean to include KU.So what you're saying is that this is a KU/UK race?

Possibly, but I think Monk will end up a Wildcat. What other elite guards are KU after?
I agree. Monk has no incentive at all to commit to UK before his basketball season ends. Half the people at his HS and in the area would be pissed.
Josh Jackson, Monk, and Fox.
Chris Fisher seems to think UK is in the lead for Monk.
KU will undoubtedly be returning all of their 2nd tier guards, so they'll have enough guys next year anyway.
It's going to be hard waiting for this kid -- but perhaps the longer he waits the better for us?
Crystal Ball has Kentucky taking the lead for Monk

Bad thing it probably changed since he just visited UK and after he visits Ark. they will be back in the lead..lol
Now you know they were just nice girls who happened to be visiting a friend in the dorms and decided to show their appreciation to their favorite team by dancing in their bikinis. No self-respecting school would hire strippers or hookers for players and recruits. It just doesn't happen. And why would UL hire hooke... Strippers?
I get why you're saying this, and I used to think similarly, but Miles Bridges just came flat out and said his Sparty visit changed his mind.
So they always do worry me
I don't understand what Michigan could offer that would make Bridge change his mine.
The above post was a joke. The Auburn game got moved up to 11am on Saturday and Malik is taking his ACT that morning as well. He's coming for Homecoming the following weekend.
but if he says I'm taking the visit on 10/31 and announcing the next week...then we are screwed.
Just curious, what are the benefits to picking Arkansas over Kentucky in your opinion?
