I never knew this.

But according to uofldynasty on the scout board it is true, and he has a plan to get back at the NCAA for...

for..., what has the NCAA done to Louisville as of yet?

"It's well known Louisville is annually the NCAA's largest TV market. Let's hit them where it hurts. Make them think twice about keeping us out. We have the power to make a statement. TV numbers as a whole have gradually been dropping anyway. Let's make our voice heard. Don't tune in to ANY games. Let's post the lowest numbers in decades and demand to be heard. Let's spread the word."

Yep. If just UL fans tune out it won't even make a noticeable blip in the national numbers. On top of that, how many are really going to follow through with not watching the games? I know if I were in their shoes I'd still be watching. March is the best month of the year if you are a fan of basketball.

"I got to thinking after the Ho said she was after Rick and felt sorry for everyone except Rick, that this seems like a personal vendetta and another extortion attempt, or set up at the least.

Whats the chance the other Ho...Karen Sypher, some yewkay fanatic, or someone else with a personal vendetta could have something to do with all this. Connect the dots."

Sypher from prison and some UK fans set this up...

These idiots keep getting dumber and dumber.

How do they ignore that recruits and their own players confirmed all of this?

They are angry over the self imposed ban because "nothing has been proven yet"...

Which is more embarassing? The sex scandal itself or the multitudes of unimaginably ignorant fans?

They have all already tuned to something else 5 minutes in, no different than their home game crowds...not just that, they are all tuning in along with UK fans to watch the cats. Afterall, being a uofl fan is all about hoping uk loses first, hoping uofl wins 2nd.

So Karen Sypher, some avenging UK fans, Andre McGee, and an UL asst. coach, and a brothel manager consprired to extort Rick Pitino and the university?

Hmmmm.... Sounds reasonable

You know, its a good thing that they finished that new bridge here in Louisville; this way they will have more room for these fools after they finish off their bottle of Crown Royal and grape blunt to jump from when the NCAA actually does respond to all this whoring around down here.

Somebody please explain in a picturegram to the UL fans that their school did this not the NCAA. Also explain to them that it appears the evidence against them is so strong that UL choose to do this to soften the penalty they know is coming. I guarantee Pitino has been told he will need to resign at the end of the season and if he goes peacefully he will be paid his money otherwise he has violated his contract and due nothing. Pitino will use his disdain for the self imposed sanction to justify his resignation.

Does that dude not realize that the reason the Louisville market is the largest TV market is because Louisville has more UK fans than any other city in the country?!?

Obviously not.

Fred Cowgill is the sports director at the CBS affiliate in Louisville (WLKY) and also happens to be a pretty big UofL honk. He consistently talks about how UK just is a bigger ratings winner in the city of Louisville over UofL and it doesn't matter the opponent either.

That shouldn't shock anybody. No one about a mile outside of Louisville's campus care about them. I moved to SC about 10 years ago and I have never, ever seen a Louisville fan here, ever. I travel the state for work daily, too.

What on earth makes them think they can compete with a WORLDWIDE fanbase?!?

Well, I'm talking about UK getting better ratings than UofL even within the Louisville market.

No question that UK dwarfs UofL's ratings on a national level.

Are they talking about viewership for UL games or just viewership in the city overall? Because Louisville is over twice the size as Lexington, and with all the UK fans here, plus the UL fans, it's gonna be a big audience for college bball.

I believe he is confused with percentage of total viewers, the Louisville market is not even remotely close to the largest market of actual viewers.

Any relation to Colin Cowgill?

The City of Louisville has had the highest ratings nationwide for the tournament for the past several years. The correlation with it being just UL fans watching is laughable I think the city was #1 in 2010 and 2011 when UL was bounced in the first weekend.

There are a few articles that said Louisville had the highest ratings through the first 2 weekends of last year's tournament (they were 3rd for the Final Four).

This mainly has to do with Kentucky (obviously) and that UofL has been good too. One great, one good team in a city will make for huge ratings.

Go look at WDRB TV listings of the last 2 years. UK vs. Wisc. UK vs ND UK vs. UL UK UK UK were the biggest watches. The year before same way year before same way. The biggest TV ratings are mostly made up of UK games. The real key aren't the big games but look at a weeknight in January UK vs. Ole Miss or UK vs. Miss St. Big numbers. The other thing is, UL fans watch UK game in hopes of UK losing, UK fans don't watch UL game unless playing Duke, UNC UK
Not even close.
