That's the first game in many years I honestly felt like I was watching a team that wanted to win and really had the talent to win against a #1 ranked Kansas team; mind you coming back from a big deficit from tip-off. The guys we have now seem to be a bit different breed mentally. Shep is a Godsend and I really think it only gets better.
For the first time since I guess 2015/16 I actually felt like a loss was actually a win. Hard to believe that a loss could be confidence building but I really do believe that's exactly what happened. These guys aren't going to be down and out about the loss at all I don't think. Not gonna lie, last year I would turn the TV off after the first half as I'm sure many others did but yesterday I actually felt some positive emotion and vibes watching the game instead of despair and agony. Really do think this team continues to improve and most likely excite and surprise most of us!
