LET'S DO THIS (Harvard-Kentucky @ Rupp)

Harvard has put some decent teams on the court recently. I don't know anything about them next year but we better be ready to play

That will be a heck of an experience for the players on Harvard's team. They can say that they not only attended one of the best academic schools in the world, they also got to play ball in the world's best basketball arena.

What if Bamba goes to Harvard?

Thought they were on his list of schools at one time. That would make that game really interesting.

Thanks Jason!!

Jason went to Harvard for his undergrad and UK Law School. I went to UK undergrad and Harvard for my master's in public policy. We have always wanted this to happen!

Harvard should be really good next year. That could be a dangerous game for UK early in the season.

I smell a 30 for 30 coming soon.

"What if I told you that a bunch of athletically deficient brainiacs went to Rupp Arena to play the might Wildcats? And what if I told you that those same Wildcats never went to class the entire semester but chose to practice basketball instead? And what if I further told you that the smart guys just might win that game? Would you call me crazy?

Join us for our next 30 for 30 -- "Ivy Leaguers Got Game Too"

Thanks Jason!!

We've never played Harvard before. It'll be the first meeting. Anybody know our record against Ivy League schools?

Anyone that went to Harvard will have enough common sense to stay away from the wasteland of RR. I on the other hand...
That's not true.

In fact, every time I see a new batch of posters installed on the bulletin boards in the science center, I start to long for the nuance and even-handedness of an RR debate.

"Why our cafeteria staff making $20 an hour are essentially third world blood slaves: a three part seminar"

"How to fight the patriarchy by rejecting the modern scientific process and its colonialist implications: a four week topless protest accompanied by warbling and yeti noises"

etc

They lose 2 of their better players ever in Siyani Chambers and Zeno Edosomwan. 5 of their top 7 other scorers were Freshman. They finished 2nd in the Ivy League behind Princeton.

Thanks Jason!!

You are the one who goes to 76ers games, right?

If so, is that an outline/image of the state of KY on the 1985 Villanova championship banner? It looked like it from a distance, but I couldn't get the right angle to confirm.

Thank you.

A 4 week topless protest?..... where will this be held?

No, it's a photo of a lawn flamingo a friend of mine has that is painted blue with the U.K. logo on it. My other obsession besides UK basketball is flamingoes. :p

Careful. Some may think you are using hyperbole and exaggeration in your two cited examples. .

early season should favor them as far as development. we typically are completely different come march. more than any other team, because of our almost usual insanely high ceiling. i hope we kick their ass. ;)

You do not want to witness this particular brand of toplessness. Trust.

Careful. Some may think you are using hyperbole and exaggeration in your two cited examples. .
Hah. They can talk all they want.

If they haven't stayed on an Ivy League campus in the past 3-4 years, they can't really grasp the full extent of it. It's nuts, dude.

Is Harvard a good college or something? I got my degree from the school of hard knocks

Yes!

I mean at 76ers arena. The '85 Villanova banner hanging there - does it have the state of Kentucky on it?
