LET'S DO THIS (Harvard-Kentucky @ Rupp)

I mean at 76ers arena. The '85 Villanova banner hanging there - does it have the state of Kentucky on it?

Makes sense due to them winning it in Rupp Arena.

Texas has something similar for their Women's Championship team of 1986 that also won it in Rupp.

Thank you for sharing. I've asked youkay a couple of times now - never got what I was asking.

I understood why they would have Kentucky on it, just couldn't confirm it.

Thanks for the photo.

IU also has a banner in AH with the Ky State outlined celebrating their win over Duke in the 2002 Regionals...

Kidding...

Sorta...

Wouldn't surprise me if they did.

Sorry I misunderstood the question!

I honestly had never noticed the Villanova banners at the Wells Fargo Center. I have only been to their games at their campus arena and didn't even notice the ones there!

Now if we can somehow get Brown on the schedule then we will have played all of the Ivy league teams.

Or better yet. How about this game... Harvard - UNCheats... Harvard with their Ivy League, high academic standards vs those stooges down at Chapel Hill. Academic wise that would be like comparing the smell of popcorn to a pile of pigs_ _ _.

Do we have any dates locked in for next season's schedule yet?

Is Harvard a good college or something? I got my degree from the school of hard knocks
When you are admitted there, you're going there for the name and connections. Tight admission standards, but once you're in the door--academically you're basically at a state university..

20 player roster last year, with 4 seniors.
They were 18-10 last year. No postseason, but they do have high hopes for 2018.

My sister, her husband, their 8 year old daughter and myself took a trip to Boston many years ago. Since they are teachers, they wanted to tour the Harvard campus. The trip was in late July so summer school was in session. When my sister told her daughter how smart you had to be to go to Harvard, she responded "They can't be too smart since they have to go to summer school"

So aside from appealing to the special interests of a few Ivy Leagers here...what is the purpose of scheduling another boring matchup to an already milquetoast home schedule?? Sorry, I'm not seeing an upside to scheduling Harvard.
