Late TD Penalty

We had a lineman going after their QB who was tugged by his collar by their Oline to keep him from getting to the QB and no call. There were more calls like that.

Every week I see that from the SEC "officials." Their officiating is a running joke with everyone I talk to in the conference. We are the ONLY conference that's ok with an OL holding while being completely behind a defender with a clear path to the QB.

Oh yeah. That’s REALLY going to send me running.

Tough cookies to you. I’m just going to doubly make sure I’m around now much to your chagrin.

You one sport only fans are truly baffling.
Lots of ifs and buts today. We lost. End of discussion.

We have to win it, learn from it and get better. We had multiple opportunities to win that game even before that play. Stop blaming the refs solely for our loss. Was it a factor? Sure. Was it THE factor. Nope. And being objective here would show that.
When you run a legal play (slot receiver moving but NOT to LOS is a legal play) and the refs call it a penalty, that impacts the game.

when it is done with less than a minute left on a game winning play, it is more than “a factor”.

if you say “well you played like crap and didn’t deserve to win” on that play, couldn’t you say that about any play? Part of the problem…people can find ways to justify anything.

Question….and looking for an objective answer. Was that play a touchdown if it was called correctly?

I’ve changed my mind; evidently it was a penalty. Impossible to tell from TV because they were still showing the replay, but apparently Brown did not get set THEN go in motion. He must’ve went straight to that spot (in other words, he never went in motion) in which case he would’ve had to have gotten set. That’s why Stoops didn’t protest. It was indeed Levis’ mistake.

So Stoops didn’t protest it why? Either he’s a fool or it was the right call.

Not sure there is a chance to “protest” it….. but that wasn’t my question….watch the tape…was it correctly called…

OHOHO! So fresh with the lame ass insults. Why don’t you disappear back to 2014 with that. Your comments have all the substance of a punctured balloon.

I love both equally and my comments prove it. You’re the one that got butt hurt over the truth. Now do me a favor and disappear faster than a smile on Nick Saban’s face.
How about you disappear you didn’t come with the truth nobody wants to hear your bs comments

Seriously, what's protesting gonna do? Will the official be like "you're right, my bad. Call reversed ".
So you just lie back and take it? That’s a good way for nothing to happen as well. At least if you argue it you’re standing up for your guys (not saying he doesn’t). Just from personal experience, saying nothing? Usually results in nothing.

Brilliant idea.

the motion penalty moved us from the 7 to the 12.....Stoops should have lost his shit, got an unsportsmanlike flag, then it is 1st & goal at the 27 with 58 seconds to go.
