Late TD Penalty

Would it had been called on Alabama or Georgia in that same situation with their rankings on the line? I did not think so.

UK enter the game as the 3rd highest ranked team in the SEC, so the conference wants to protect its ranked teams, but favored number 5 over number 3?

I love both equally unlike you bye Felicia
OHOHO! So fresh with the lame ass insults. Why don’t you disappear back to 2014 with that. Your comments have all the substance of a punctured balloon.

I love both equally and my comments prove it. You’re the one that got butt hurt over the truth. Now do me a favor and disappear faster than a smile on Nick Saban’s face.

UGA got Away with this exact thing on a TD against Missouri. Of course, it was NoT called—-and it was far more obvious. Ridiculous
Not even close to the same thing. The UGA WR was one of the 7 guys on the line and had to be set. The slot receiver was in motion so he had to be set for that also. Neither of those apply to Barion Brown. The UGA play was actually a penalty, the UK play wasn't.

Our #3 ranking means nothing…history is what matters and we are supposed to be a doormat. The big boys and power brokers don’t like what Stoops has done. You been around long enough to know how the SEC works. Ex. Your false start that lead to a score last night as well as the obvious pass interference call right in front of Drinkwitz last night that wasn’t called…

Well. Yes. That was my point

Naw, because you know Ole Miss won by 3 TDs. Hell yeah you can blame the refs. UK trailed 14-0 after a quarter and held Ole Piss TD less the last 3 quarters and tied it at 19 and scored the go ahead TD with 59 tics left only to be F’in hankied on a controversial motion penalty. If ever there was a game to blame the zebras its this one.
Lol SEC refs are the shadiest.
The refs did not cost us the games and the fans that go there suck. We made enough mistakes for two games, to blame the refs is just weak. Please don't make our fan base look weak.

I agree on what we should’ve did I would have actually ran CRod right there but that call was bs and would not have been called if roles were reversed or if it was Georgia or Alabama I watched Youngstown St WR do it the whole game against us and it wasn’t called one time
You people that think the world is against UK need to get a clue. Quit making our fan base look so weak and blame everyone in the world except our players. We screwed up Saturday. Left 5 points out there in the kicking game and our QB1 gave them 2 points and two fumbles. Take it like men, act like men, and live to fight another day. We are a laughing stock amongst the SEC fans because so many of our fans are bitches and lack self awareness about our team. This can be a special season. Stay with it and quit making excuses. Then, we have the others that want to tweet our quaterback......Man being a UK fan for so long has worn me out. Let's go Cats.

Let it go, Jeff Picoro on the UK broadcast called it before the TD & flag, he saw from the booth the O wasn't set at snap

Levis acknowledged also after the game. He was probably adrenaline hyped to the moon to make up for the fumble earlier and rushed the snap when he had tons of time.

Brilliant perfect playcall by Coach Scan. I'm like Ole Miss, 1st & goal at the 7 i figure we would give it to CRod 2 or 3 times up the gut. If we held off on snapping for 1 more second it works, we are in top 6, Levis makes himself a national conversation. Instead he gets trashed, and morons too stupid to breath or talk football want to leave Scan in sipp.

Oh well, CFB is a game of inches & seconds, with a funny shaped ball, played by 18-22 yr olds. Its why it is the cruelest and greatest sport around.

So, because 1 person said it was legit the thousands of us who say it's not are wrong?

You are usually a very good poster on this board but you seem to be rooting for a SEC West team to beat us here. I saw in another thread where you said the rule says targeting can only be called when a player is defenseless. The rule makes no mention of a defenseless player. Targeting is defined as "Leading with the helmet to make forcible above the shoulder contact."

Penalty on BB was legit, he never got set. All offensive players must get set before the ball can be snapped or any motion started. It bugs me this hardly ever gets called against the gimmick offenses like OM or UT. But by the rule it was correct. Flag was thrown before the TD too, not after like the Miami Overrated State title game a decade or so ago. Ref did call it wrong though saying he was moving forward which he was not.

The missed holds and targeting, that's on the refs. Same as the missed facemask. They let them play and I am OK with that even though it hurt us in some spots.

We didn't execute when we needed to and that hurts. I was pleased to see Levis step up and accept his mistakes. That's what you want in a leader. Step two is making the adjustments and I believe he will.

This team is still way more than capable of winning out

Remember when Darius West was ejected for targeting DeAndre Swift on a handoff?

Also about 4 blantant holding penalties that went uncalled.

Saw this crap live and knew they wouldn't call ish! Just like the egregious no call on the nasty face mask of Levis v UT last season on our final attempt to win the game. Cost UK 30 yards of field position. The 15 yd no call and a 15 yd Unsportsman on Stoops! You cant make this ish up!

I totally agree and the controversial L will be used as a spring board to do just that!

It was the right call but one thing the refs missed several times, due to Ole Miss running to the line and snapping the ball so quickly, was that on multiple occasions Ole Miss did not have 7 guys on the line of scrimmage. They would have too many receivers 2-3 yards off of the line of scrimmage which should have been an illegal formation call and they never called it once.

In his defense, he's a Georgia fan. Of course he would rather us lose and Ol' Miss to win. He wants someone other than Alabama to win the west. Don't we all?

I don't know if it was the right call. Will finish watching the replay tonight

Originally, I didn't know why Stoops was yelling at Levis, but I know now.

These are painful lessons to have to learn and can really turn an entire season into what could have been.

BTW, these refs are going to do it again and again, and you have to overcome that. PATS and FGs would have made it a non-factor.

I’ve been seeing lots of |=u€kery just in this series. AJ Rose can’t get a TD review that broke the plain, missed helmet to helmet on our QB , missed holding at least 5 times and then they want to negate a freshman going up like an all NFL one handed grab and ripping it down.

I’m so tired of flabby senior citizen refs being some
less than stellar Ole Miss programs saving grace.

Disgraceful hack weasels couldn’t pack a stadium unless it was filled with lions who were gonna eat them. Bastards deserve to be dealt just as big a crushing blow in their life. Mississippis burning is b/c of men like this. They handed Fat Phill every call he ever whined about.

We had a lineman going after their QB who was tugged by his collar by their Oline to keep him from getting to the QB and no call. There were more calls like that. There were spots that were beneficial to Ole Miss. I see those. I probably missed some that were in our favor. I can't be impartial. It hurt too much to lose.
