A large group from the Deep South visited and camped at Kentucky over the weekend. I can tell you that Jackson (Miss.) Callaway cornerback Dwayne Pickett (2017), Dothan (Ala.) Northview receiver Kolby Easley (2016), Northview quarterback Tyler Marshall (2016) and Dothan, Ala., cornerback Tyrez Lindsey were there.
Though listed as a quarterback, Marshall actually worked out as a linebacker for the first time. He’s up to 6-foot-5 and 240 pounds and has become pretty massive.
Easley and Lindsey report multiple offers but none of the quartet have been offered by Kentucky yet. Not sure any of these guys are major targets at this point, but I spoke with all of them and they were very impressed by the facility plans as well as Derrick Ansley, who is largely responsible for recruiting them.
